Well I don't where to begin. I have no idea what to say. I'm never usually like this but this is weird. Let's start shall we? Carter and Benjamin. Not a good combination. They ended up arguing at each other and I had to break it up.

I don't get it though. Why was Benjamin sticking up for me. I thought he didn't want to marry me. Oh well, only time will tell.

But let's get one thing straight, I don't love Carter. As a friend yes, but no other way. Ben is a different story. He's completely different to Carter, and there brothers. Weird.

"What are you doing here?" Carter asked. I moved back to sit with Benjamin on my bed. I sat next to him.

"How about you go ask dad." Benjamin said smartly. He's funny.

"Well, I'm asking you." Carter said back to Ben.

"Since you know Scarlett well she can tell you." Ben said looking at me. What his wrong with him.

"Don't bring me into this." I said looking back at him.

"Please." He whispered in my ear. I nodded.

"Carter, Ben is here with your dad because I'm going to marry him on my birthday." I said. I looked at Carter and he wasn't happy.

"WHAT?! ARE YOU MAD?!" Carter yelled at me. He needs to take a chill pill.

"Carter, no need to yell, and plus it wasn't my idea. Geez." I said.

"You're not marrying him." He said. What? Carter doesn't own me, no one does. I choose my life not him. Low life prick.

"Since when you my mother, Carter. I can do as I please." I said getting up from where I was to face Carter.

"Since I said so." He said grabbing hold of my hand. I pulled and pulled to try to get away but no use.

"LET ME GO CARTER!" I yelled. Ben got up immediately and grabbed Carter by the throat and hard. Carter let me go and I fell backwards onto my butt.

"DON'T EVER TOUCH HER AGAIN!" Ben yelled and threw Carter into the wall. I sat on the ground, shocked at what he had done.

Carter got back up and went straight for me. I moved back and hit my head on my bed. Ben stood in front of me.

Carter hit Ben in the stomach and Ben hit him in the face. I didn't know what to do. What am I supposed to do anyway? I don't know. I stood up from behind Ben.

"STOP!" I screamed. They both stopped and looked at me.

"What are you fighting about? Me?" I said. I was so confused, but I'm like that all the time.

"I knew you first and I fell in love with you first. I also deserve you more than my brother." Carter said. He loves me?

"I have to marry you and to tell you the truth, I'm happy. Before I 'officially' met you I thought you were a bit of a drama princess. But you're completely different. I wouldn't use you like I've seen Carter do, I'd protect you with my life." Benjamin said. That's really sweet.

"Sorry Carter. Really I am but I'm marrying Benjamin and you're not going to stop me." I said moving towards Ben and hugging him.

I looked back at Carter and he was shocked. It's my life not his. He can't control me. He didn't know me very well. Did he?

"Just you wait Scarlett. Wait until next time." He said madly and walked out of my room and slammed the door behind him. Thank god he's gone.

"Don't be scared. He's not going to hurt you, even if I'm not around." Ben said. I just smiled.
