I walked up the street from my house to my school. As I crossed the street to the other sidewalk, I saw them. I stopped about six feet ahead of them. The "famous" couple. Thomas Hooker and his little girlfriend, Holland Price. I pulled my hood over my head. We stared at each other for a few more seconds before taking steps towards each other. We met at the halfway point. Thomas punched me at full force, knocking me off my feet. They laughed at me. My nose was bleeding. I spat the blood out of my mouth before slowly standing up. They continued to laugh. I punched Thomas back with all of my strength. He nearly fell, but Holland held him up. I walked by them smile on my face. "Rot in hell, assholes," I shouted at them, flipping them off. I jogged the rest of the way. I ran into Sawyer and Alice talking. Sawyer pulled my mask up. "Oh my god, baby boy. What happened?" Sawyer asked, cupping my face. "You should see that bastard's," I said. Alice laughed with me. "Alice!" Sawyer said. "Sorry, he's funny," she said. "Thomas and Holland. He swang and I swung harder," I said. Alice gave me a high-five. "God darn you two," Sawyer said. "We have to go, sadly. See you after school," Alice said, grabbing Sawyer's arm. Sawyer kissed me and went with Alice. "Baby, I love you. But, please clean up your face before first period," Sawyer shouted at me. "I love you, too. I will," I shouted back.

I realized the halls were pretty much empty. I walked to the closest bathroom. I walked into the men's room to clean my face. I grabbed some toilet paper and dampen it. I ran it against the drying blood. I finished and threw the tissue away, fixed my mask, and left for first period.

~Time skip~

My last period was history, with Holland. Great. I walked into class and was the first one. "Hello, Mister Hunter," said Miss Ivan. "Hello, Miss Ivan," I said, sitting in my seat. The class filed in with students. Miss Ivan did attendance and introduced us to the history project. Then, she told us who our partner was. "Tristan H., you are with Holland Price," Miss Ivan said. "What? You paired me up with Stacy! The wannabe boy loser!" Holland yelled, jumping out of her seat. "Ms. Price, do not deadname or can him a 'wannabe boy loser' anyone in my class. You will fail if you don't work with Mr. Hunter. Now, sit back down or go to the principal office," Miss Ivan said. She sat back down and glared at me. I was laying down and turned to the window. I want to be anywhere but here right now. I was thinking about Iris. God, I miss them so much. But thanks to them, I can't talk to them. Well, without them responding to me.

Miss Ivan continued the list. While she was talking, someone from behind me got up and stood next to me. "Hey, Tristan," the person said. "What?" I asked looking up at them. It was Ashfur Clarkson. He was pretty popular in my school. "Can I talk to you after class?" he asked. "Sure, why not?" I said. He smiled at me and went back to his seat. Miss Ivan didn't notice that Ashfur got out of his seat, but I'm sure as hell the others did. I was still looking at the window, but I could feel their eyes. "Alright, class. Go sit with your partners," Miss Ivan finally said. I sat up in my chair. "Tristan, can you pull off your hood," the teacher said. "Fine," I said, pulling the hood and mask off. They all gasped in shock. The last time they had seen my face was years ago.

Girls started to whisper. One guy stood up and shouted, "It's Tyler Hunter's little brother. He's in our class." I tried to cover my face as the girls screeched. "Tristan, you can go if you want," Miss Ivan said, signing me a pass. I pulled back on my hood and speed walk out of class. I bumped into Alice. "What the- Tristan," she said after we bumped into each other. "Hey," I said. "What the hell are you doing here? Your class doesn't end for another 25 minutes," Alice said. "I know. The teacher told me to pull down my hood and students went wild," I said. "Damn, should we just wait here or go wait for Sawyer?" Alice asked me. "We should stay, I have to talk with someone in that class after school," I said. "Alright, you can take your hood off. I'm the only person here," she said. I took my mask off and pulled off my hood.
