What a Moon

Jeremiah knew what the star was there for. Same as Jupiter, same as the Earth, same as almost any other planet and star. He was unattainable, and he was proud of it. Half of the time, he would entertain the stars, showing them what they could have, and then immediately taking it away from them. It was enticing, exciting, and it made him feel an adrenaline rush he wasn't usually allowed. He taps a small planet on the shoulder, handing him his handbag, and winking. The small boy giggles, taking the bag and running off on his own. Jeremiah saw the star get confused, and waved softly to get his attention. The star looked up, almost like a deer in headlights.

"He's my brother. Same mother, different father. Was a pretty shame when my father found out, though." Jeremiah smiles, before walking into the dining hall, and clearing his throat. He could tell that the star was confused on how much power he had, around the castle, but he really shouldn't be surprised. Unless... He'd never been to one of these gatherings. The star didn't look like he was very into these gatherings, anyway. Far too anxious.

"Remus, get us a bottle of your sweetest cabernet and a plate of cheese and fruit out to the private balcony, please." He says, flashing a smile and a wink at the young chef, before grabbing the star by the wrist and dragging him to the dance floor.

He smiles, taking the lead on the dancing. The star seemed surprised, before he quickly switched their positions, dipping Jeremiah. The moon gasped, blushing a bit. The stars eyes widened, and he apologized, before returning to their previous positions.

"You are an odd one, aren't you?" The moon asks, smiling a bit cockily at the other male.

"Do you have a name?" Jeremiah asks, tucking a piece of hair behind the stars ear.

"It's Celyn. Delgado. Celyn Delgado." The star says, blunt and awkward. Jeremiah hums, before nodding.

"Class?"

"White dwarf."

"Ah, must explain your actions. Well, pleased to meet you, dearest."

"What about you?"

"Pink and blue moon, though I don't seem to have a size category." Miah smiles, his eyes flashing playfully at the star. Celyn was taller than him, he notices, though chooses not to comment on it.

Jeremiah spins them out of the way of another dancing couple, his hand squeezing Celyns' just slightly harder as he smiles at the passing star.

"So what do you do, dearest?" Jeremiah asks, looking back at Celyn and making direct eye contact. He spins them out of the way of that same star and moon, once again. Jeremiah grimaces softly, pulling himself just a bit closer to Celyn. The star was his ex, and he really didn't want to hear the tenth explanation of how much the male missed him, how good he was in bed, or how badly the star wanted to take him home again. Besides, by the look of it, he was drunk again. That never ended well. Jeremiah remembered being with him, too. A beauty on the streets, a beauty in the household, but terrible in bed. They could go anywhere and do anything, but Jeremiah hated being around him anywhere too private. The star was a desperate bunny, and he could say that for a fact. Celyn clears his throat, snapping Jeremiah out of his daydream. He spins out of the way of the star, again.

"Well, I like to read, and write. I take a lot of trips to the physical earth, in humanoid form. Earth's wildlife is extraordinary, as are they." Celyn smiles, and Jeremiah felt a soft pang in his chest. He suppressed it, not knowing how Celyn was really talking about them. The Earth was quite special.

"That sounds lovely." Jeremiah says, before drifting farther away from Celyn, just by a bit.

"What about you?" Celyn asks, smiling gently at Jeremiah. Admiring him.

"Oh, I own several businesses on Earth. Quite beautiful things, Earths' gemstones. Have such properties to calm celestials." He smiles, and Celyn hums, bringing Jeremiah closer, switching the positions of their dancing. Jeremiah doesn't argue. The physical conversation stops, but Jeremiah could feel Celyns eyes on him, and he could even feel the words coming from the other males head.

"You're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen."

Jeremiah wanted to say back, 'You're literally looking through pink lighting' and laugh, but he couldn't bring himself to ruin the moment. He'd been told that so many times before, and he's said that so many times before, as well.

"You're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen."

But he knew that Celyn had meant it. It wasn't physically spoken, he didn't actually say it, but Jeremiah could feel it in his gaze, in the way they were standing. The music slowed down, but really, it didn't. Time was just slowing down for the moon, and his pink lighting grew softly brighter, as he came closer to Celyn. He drifted close enough to him to lay his head on the males shoulder, smiling into the expensively patterned vest and dress shirt the male was wearing. Celyns arm wraps around his waist more, and he could almost hear the soft noise that the fabric would make as Celyns hand landed on the other side of him, almost protectively. Jeremiah looks up at him, smiling softly.

"You are quite the adorable creature, aren't you?" Celyn asks, and they spin away from the other star, this time by Celyn's doing. Jeremiah doesn't even notice.

"Oh, I'm a creature now, am I?" Jeremiah giggles, resting his head on Celyn's shoulder for another few seconds, before looking back up again.

"You are." Celyn smiles playfully, dipping Jeremiah suddenly, and bringing them back up.

"It's quite loud in here, would you mind joining me in the garden?"
