{C.D.S. One}
Celyn walks into the ballroom, head held high, as he was supposed to. Truly, he did not want to be here. He was heavily sought after, as a star, but he didn't want the attention. He only came for the upholding of the status quo, whatever that was at this point. He pulls his suit jacket over him tighter, although there wasn't really any point, and he just made himself look stupid. He was dressed in all whites and silvers, including his tie and crown. His shoes made a soft 'clack' sound as he walked along the intricate hallways of the palace, the sound echoing into something much larger than it was. But his sound wasn't alone. There were a few others in the hallway, their shoes doing the same. Whether that be dress shoes or heels, it was there. He sighs, shaking off the reverberating thoughts and cutting a sharp right into the ballroom, only now noticing just how loud it was. His footsteps were no longer audible, just the cheap classical music and incessant chatter. Celyn made his way to a waiter, ordering a hot tea and leaning against one of the many decorative marble pillars. He starts to take in the scenery, a richly decorated ballroom of deep reds and oranges, with richly decorated humanoids. Same as every year. But there was something different, he supposed. Something a little more... Calming. Maybe it was the music, or maybe the crowd. He couldn't tell quite yet.
Celyn was brought out of his head by the waiter, his hot tea being handed to him in a soft orange ceramic mug, and the familiar feeling of heat calmed him even moreso. The dresses that the moons wore only became less modest as the years went on, and the amount of suns with capes only decreased in turn. Celyn didn't understand why the world was so interested in the sexual course of things. It wasn't a true part of their society, and he did not know why it had become so. Celyn lets his body relax more, his soft glow illuminating the ballroom just a bit more than he'd expected. The room was quite ornate, the dancing lights of the stars and their partners making the expensive gemstone floors glimmer. There were no torches needed, as the stars produced their own light. There were even some red dwarfs giving off a bit of light up in a chandelier. They didn't even have to try to pose, sitting on velvet couches drinking wine and eating grapes and cheese like it was ancient rome. Every decoration that was actually imported for the event was gold or silver, shining like it could blind. Diamonds embedded every piece of table cloth, and everything about the event just screamed 'royalty'.
Celyn hated it.
He decides to go out to the garden to calm down, just wanting some space to relax and not feel like he was in the middle of a rich whore-house. His shoes once again tack on the ground softly, echoing just enough to highlight how alone he was here. He'd rather be at home, surrounded by plants and books, drinking his own drinks, and relaxing with his pets. He studies the walls, distracted by his thoughts of home, watching the shell-like gleam of the walls, his own light illuminating the dark hallways. He's distracted, again, this time by what was appearing up ahead.
A moon. Fairly small, smiling forcibly up at a planet. Celyn straightens his spine, starting to walk with purpose. He didn't want the moon to get hurt. As Celyn draws closer, he recognizes the planet as Jupiter, and rolls his eyes. Celyn could tell that the moon was getting quite annoyed with Jupiter. He studies the moon gently, actually taking in his appearance. The moon was wearing a soft, pastel blue ball gown, with a black tulle petticoat that went down to his feet.The colors mixed and faded, going from a soft blue, to a deep navy. He could tell it was detachable, though, because the blue dress was matted down to the knees, yet the floor-length piece was very much dry and in pristine dancing condition. The moon also had elbow-length silver fingerless gloves, dangling diamond earrings, and his hair was done with blue streaks bleeding with his naturally golden-brown hair. His skin was pale, littered with freckles, and the garments he was wearing made his eyes pop. Celyn could swear he had worn a choker, but in the blink of an eye, it'd disappeared.
Celyn was so busy admiring the beauty of this small male, (really, he was tiny. About 5'7, and Celyn knew he was wearing high heels.) The male snaps out of his daze at the sound of yelping and crashing, and suddenly the moon has Jupiter pinned to the floor, dress lifted up to his knees and heel aimed at the planet's neck. His choker was in his hand, however, Jupiter was rubbing his neck.
"Say that to me one more fucking time, and I swear to all of the upper deities, you will end up super-nova'ed in this very spot, and your solar system will be lost to time." He growls, and it makes Celyn blink. He didn't expect the moon to have such a deep voice, but then again, most moons would force their voices to be high as flutes. Jupiter apologizes, and the moon lets him scurry off. He looked very pleased with himself.
"You alright?" Celyn asks, stepping forward with a small smile. He sets his teacup on the platter of a passing waiter.
The moon smiles at him, chuckling and shaking his head.
"Of course, dearie. Care to join me for a drink?"
