The New CEO

Then a group of guards surrounded Jisoo.

They all gripped tightly on her arms

"YOU... HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!" Jisoo yelled with rage at Jennie.

Jennie just crossed her arms.

"Because I know that you are so stupid Jisoo." She muttered.

"Well yeah... I WAS SO STUPID TO THINK THAT YOU WERE A REAL FRIEND... BUT YOU ARE NOT!" Jisoo tried to resist the hold of the guards but the more they'd grip tighter.

"Hmm.. Good thing you know now. Anyways, dispose that trash from here." Jennie said.

Jisoo never felt so betrayed by her very trusted friend.

Her tears fell as the guards dragged her away.

"Alright.. Alright... Let me go now." She muttered weakly.

Then the guards let her go.

She took all her things, including her blazer and bag.

Meanwhile back at Jennie ....

Jennie smiled at the board of directors.

"Thank you for voting wisely. Now this meeting is adjourned and see you tomorrow for a new day.

She then bowed down at all of them.

Back at Jennie's home...

Little did she know that her father had secretly sent someone to take a video of her and send it to him.

Now he is sitting on the sofa and looked at the video.

He smiled widely.

That's my daughter.... He thought as he watched Jisoo getting taken away by the guards.

Meanwhile at the streets....

Jimin was exploring around, looking for a shop to buy something.

He was riding his motorcycle.

He stopped by near the big television when he saw the news.

BREAKING NEWS: Jennie Kim is the new CEO of Kim Co. Jisoo ousted from her position.

He shook his head.

This must be her new mission.

He started running his motorcycle again going towards the Kim Co.

At Kim Co......

Jennie was sitting on an empty bench nearby drinking a cup of cappucino.

She crossed her legs feeling calm amidst everything.

Then she heard a sound of motorcycle engine..

She looked up only to find Jimin getting off from his vehicle.

"Oh... you're here." She spoke in her poker face.

"I heard what happened. You're now the new CEO?" Jimin asked her

"News do spread so fast. Yes.. What is it to you?"

"This.. this is indeed one of the reasons why you didn't chose to stay with me last night."

Jennie held unto her cappucino drink tightly as she felt tensed

"Now you know... this is the reason, I can't always attend to your needs. I don't even need a boyfriend."

"So I guess your answer is really clear huh?" Jimin pulled her by her arm making her stand up in front of him.

Her cappucino cup dropped on the ground.

"OW! Let me go you punk!"

But Jimin did not.

He instead pulled her closer and embraced her.

Jennie never felt so comfortable in his hug.

His warmth and his beautiful scent.

"Jennie...Just know that no matter what decisions you take. I trust in you." He said in his gentle tone.

He then break off from the hug and looked at her.

He caressed her cheek with his thumb and stared unto her eyes full of admiration.

She looked at him with her softened expression.

"About whether you like me back or not. I'm willing to wait for your answer." He then let go then rode back at his motorcycle.

Jennie crouched down and pouted.

She stared blankly ahead.

I really don't know....

Afterwards,she decided to go home back to their mansion.

Meanwhile at Jimin's side...

He was driving swiftly down the streets nearby until he almost bumped unto someone.

Luckily he was able to step on
his breaks.

He instantly stepped down to help the girl.

The girl looked at him as he helped her stand up.

"Park Jimin..." She muttered.

"Wait... Lisa?" He replied

"Yes... Now you owe me some explanation. We need to talk."

FASTFORWARD>>>

At the park nearby...

They both sat down on the bench both holding a drink in their hands.

"I heard that you are from a Mafia family. I discovered it when Hoseok was imprisoned because of you." Lisa said

"Alright.. He is right."

"All this time you pretended back in high school."

"Because if I told you I know you'd react that way."

"Chim.... You really think that way?... I trust in you.. None of this is your fault. Even your birth in that kind of family."

Jimin looked at Lisa and Lisa looked at him

Both ended up smiling genuinely at each other.

"Thank you Lisa."

"Don't worry Mafia boy.. I won't report you to the cops." She chuckled.

"By the way... where is Hoseok?.."

Lisa bit her lip as if trying to hesitate in answering.

"Well... he looked for a place to stay somewhere." She scratched her head.

Something seriously looks suspicious in here... Jimin thought as he looked at Lisa.
