Racial discrimination is a belief that a particular race or ethnicity is inferior or superior to others. It involves any act that where a person is treated unfairly because of their skin color religion, ethnicity, or nationality. I am here to let you all realize that racial discrimination is an immoral and foolish act. I speak to those racist people out there. They may not know me and I may not know them but this speech is for them.
First of all, there is no superior race. It does not mean that you are superior if you ard white, you have colored eyes, or a sharp nose bridge...If the whites were indeed the superior race, then they should've been superior throughout the history of mankind. If you look at the timeline of the history, the Chinese and Arabic culture were more advanced and dominant than the Europeans. Also, putting in some biology into my speech, the blacks are technically the first race of humans. The whites are mere mutations of the blacks due migration and climate changes.
Secondly, in all holy books, it is said that all of us are equal.
I am sorry for the people who have other religions. I recently read an article about Pope Francis' views on racism. He said and I quote, "A racist casts aside humanity and becomes a beast, a demon. He is the embodiment and personification of evil. A Satan!" Harsh words to be said by a Pope isn't it? But in some sense he is right. You are casting aside your humanity when you judge other races. Being racist doesn't make you more of a human. It makes you a monster. A monster who doesn't understand the importance of every life. Pope Francis also said that it doesn't matter where we worship, it may be a mosque, a synagogue, or a church. We all worship one loving God, just in different names. Pope mentioned about humanity. Humanity is the quality or state of being human. We are all biologically the same. We all have a head, body, and a brain. We all bleed and die. Being rich or worshipping another god aside from the one you believe in or having a different skin color won't save you from this. And... We all have emotions. We can love, get hurt, be happy, sad, or angry.
You racists are as vulnerable as those people you are racist to.
It does not mean she is blonde, she is dumb.
It does not mean that he is Muslim, he is a terrorist.
It does not mean that he is black, he has a bomb in his pocket.
It does not mean that she is Filipino, she is your maid.
Your racist thoughts are poisoning the humanity that is in you.
It makes you look like a fool, a fool who only knows how to judge and does not know how to understand. It makes you look like you don't have any basic values. No respect. No love for others. Careless, literally. Now I want you to think when someone you see someone that looks different from you. "I am just like them. I am human. I have feelings. What would I feel if someone was racist to me like how I am to them?"
Instead of avoiding them, join them. Instead of dissing them, love them. Instead of judging them, understand them. Stop judging one and generalizing all. Stop being racist and open your eyes to the splendid world around you and the wonderful people living in it.
