Once upon a time
In a land full of crime
There lived a battered witch
An ugly witch living by the beach

Kings and queens considered her as an outcast
Even her own kins tried to murder her in the past
No one dared to join her for supper
For they feared of what they may suffer

Their clouded judgement weakens her soul
So she hid herself under her cowl to crawl
Inside the city of ruthless sinners
And those of inhuman bidders and leaders

She kept her emotions sealed in a bottle
Hoping one day she'd win this battle
A battle that kept her lost in the crowd
But if ever she wins, it'll make her stand proud

One day this witch met a pretty boy
He was so pretty like Helen of troy
But he was a ruthless noble's son
Compared to her she was akin to none

The boy cried for he wasn't happy
He never knew this was reality
He was kept in a castle full of gold
So the witch told her the stories of old

He was ready to unfold her miseries
A bitter sweet tales of mysteries
A story which was once foretold
But 'twas her beauty he wants to unfold

He knew she wasn't really ugly
He knew she had an incomparable beauty
But he wanted to know the reason why
Why create an illusion and tell them lies
