-same day after school-

zane groaned as he listened to aphmau.

"why in the world would you do that? i thought you liked kawaii~chan?" she asked in frustration.

"why would she like me back? i bullied her!" zane replied in the same tone.

aphmau sat down beside zane. "kawaii~chan forgives people. she forgave you. plus she'll give you another chance if you just t e l l her!" aphmau explained, emphasizing on tell.

zane thought about it then answered. "it's too late anyway, she's on a date with reese."

aphmau groaned and face palmed.

"you need to talk to her, zane. call her after the date," aphmau demanded before walking to the kitchen to get some food.

leaving zane in the living room to think, and trust me, he did think about it.

then he decided he will. there's a reason why he got kawaii~chan phone number instead of aphmau.

meanwhile kawaii~chan was struggling on her date.

reese was just talking about himself and showing off, barely asking kawaii~chan what she likes and dislikes. he brought kawaii~chan to the movies and instead of both picking, reese just chose for them.

and they ended up watching a horror movie. and kawaii~chan hates horror movies.

she was happy when reese dropped her off, to say the least. she said bye to the other boy before running up to her bedroom.

she sighed. all she could think about throughout the date was zane.

her phone rang, and she picked it up to answer it.

"hello?"

"hey, kawaii~chan! how was the date?"

"oh, hey zane," kawaii~chan responded before pausing. should she tell the truth or lie?

"honestly, i didn't have fun. he just talked about himself the whole time, and we went to the movies and he chose a horror movie-"

"and you hate horror movies," zane finished the sentence for her.

kawaii~chan smiled slightly. he remembered.

"yeah. and the whole time i was just thinking of yo- someone," kawaii~chan coughed to cover it up.

but zane heard.

"me? kawaii~chan please be honest, was you gonna say me?" zane asked.

kawaii~chan paused, before speaking, "yeah..."

zane smiled on the other side of the phone. aphmau was right.

"kawaii~chan, you have no idea how happy i am to hear that. remember when i texted nona that i liked you? i meant it. i do likes you."

kawaii~chan blushed, "then why did you tell me to go on a date with reese?"

"i thought you deserved better. i bullied you!"

"zane, you was going through some issues. i was just the unlucky victim. but i forgives you. and i liked you back, and the feelings never went away even when you bullied me."

the two stopped speaking for a moment.

then zane asked something kawaii~chan always wanted to hear.

"want to go on a date with me then, kawaii~chan?"
