--day of prom--

kawaii~chan was going through her closet trying to find something to wear. when she couldn't, she called aphmau in frustration.
hi
"i don't have anything to wear, aph."

"i got something you can wear," aphmau answered and she hung up.

about 15 minutes later, there was a knock on the door. kawaii~chan ran downstairs to open the door. there was aphmau, who was holding a pink dress that had black lace.

kawaii~chan basically fell in love with the dress. aphmau had another dress for herself, so they ran up to kawaii~chan room to get ready.

a couple hours later, the two girls was finally ready. aphmau texted someone, who kawaii~chan assumed was aaron.

"okay, aaron is on his way to pick us up," aphmau informed the other girl, and they went downstairs to watch some tv to pass the time.

when aaron arrived, both girls got in the car, and they was on the way to where prom was going to be.

they met up with katelyn and travis at prom, and the five walked in. the place was decorated to the max. the theme was roaring 20s, so there
was a lot of 20s theme decors, and people was already dancing and eating desserts.

she turned to face her friends, but they was gone. she knew this was a bad idea. she walked over to one of the empty table and sat down, pulling out her phone.

she scrolled through instagram, looking at all those people being happy with their significant other, and she started feeling jealous and down.

she had a chance to feel like those other people did, and reese just took it from her. she sighed as she clicked out of instagram. she decided to go on one of those book reading apps. she looked for a book that caught her attention, and when she found one, she started reading.

she felt a tap on her shoulder, and she looked up. she gasped when she saw who it was.

zane was standing there, dressed in a black tux with a grey button down shirt and a pink bow tie. he smiled as he held out his hand.

"care to dance mi'lady?"

kawaii~chan thought about it, and she shook her head 'no'. "i want you to talk to me first. why have you been ignoring me?"

zane sighed before he sat down.

"i was very hurt. obviously i know now what happened, but at the time i thought you just played with my feelings. and it was exactly what i was afraid of. it was the same reason why i bullied you. i was afraid of you hurting me. and after discovering what happened, i just didn't know how to talk to you. the only way i did was through the project. and hell, i looked forward for english just so i could talk to you."

kawaii~chan listened, and she smiled.

"i'm just glad you're talking to me again. that's all i ever wanted. i just wanted you," she admitted.

zane smiled back, "now you have me. if you still want me, of course."

kawaii~chan nodded with a smile. "of course zane. let's dance." she grabbed zane's hand and they ran to the dance floor where they met the other four.

aphmau winked at zane, while travis and katelyn smiled at kawaii~chan.

and it all made sense. this was the surprise.

zane left the note in her locker.

and she heard aaron ask a question to aphmau.

"did anything happened between zane and kawaii~chan? why are they super happy now?"

to which aphmau responded, "i'll explain later."

and they all danced the night away.
