(I'll tell you when to play the music.)

I sat in my car as I stared at my phone waiting for my producer to call me up to the studio. I scrolled through my Instagram feed as I sat criss-cross in my seat with my air conditioning blasting in my face. I was getting a call from my producer as I answered it I put my phone to my ear.

Producer: Hi y/n, you can come in now. There's also a new guy in here for training so I'd like you to meet him.

You: Alright I'm coming in right now.

I ended the call and shut off my car taking my keys out and opening my door. I stepped out of the car fixing my leggings and shutting my door making sure to lock it. My Vans  shoe laces flopped around everywhere as I walked on the pavement. I walked to the doors and pulled them open.

"Hi y/n! Great to see you again." Ava the girl at the front greeted me.

"You too bitch! I missed you." I laughed and walked off to my studio. I opened the door as my producer walked over to me.

"Hey Mike!" I laughed hugging him. He said hi back to me and I walked over to the couch I always sit at showing him my lyrics so he can get an idea for a beat. I saw a guy walk out of the back door. He had hazel eyes and dark chocolaty hair. He was muscular and pretty tan.

"Oh hi, I'm Grayson." The guy put his hand out so I can shake it. I got up and shook it. He had a pretty tight grip.

"I'm y/n." I let go of his hand as smiled at him.

"Wait like THE y/n! I knew your named sounded familiar." Grayson was shocked as his eyes grew wide.

"Yeah. I know I don't think I'm that big of a deal,  I'm just doing what I've always wanted to." I giggled and kept staring at his eyes. He is so goddamn gorgeous. And the way he looks at me.

"Y/n come on I got the beat." Mike said over the loud beat going on. I walked away from Grayson and into my little cube putting on my headphones, I stood in front of the microphone. I waited for the right part of the beat to hit.

(Play the music now.)

"I was good on my own, that's the way it was

That's the way it was
You was good on the low for a faded fuck
On some faded love
Shit, what the fuck you complaining for?
Feeling jaded huh?
Used to trip off that shit I was kickin' to you
Had some fun on the run though, I'll give it to youBut baby
Don't get it twisted
You was just another guy on the hit list
Tryna fix your inner issues with a bad bitch
Didn't they tell you that I was a savage
Fuck your white horse and a carriage
Bet you never could imagine
Never told you you could have itYou needed me
Ooh
You needed me
To feel a little more, and give a little less
Know you hate to confess
But baby ooh, you needed meYou been rollin' around, shit I'm rollin' up
Light and roll it up
Break it down like a pound, shit was never us
Shit was never us
That's the real on the real, are you serious?
How you feel, how you feel?
Used to trip off that shit I was kickin' to ya
Had some fun on the run though, I'll give it to yaBut baby
Don't get it twisted (don't get it twisted)
You was just another guy on the hit list
Tryna fix your inner issues with a bad bitch
Didn't they tell you that I was a savage
Fuck your white horse and a carriage
Bet you never could imagine
Never told you you could have itYou needed me
Ooh (ooh)
You needed me (you needed me)
To feel a little more, and give a little less
Know you hate to confess
But baby ooh, you needed me"

I sang into the microphone pouring my heart out. I saw Grayson staring at me with his mouth wide open, I smiled knowing I had this man tied around my finger. I finished singing and took the headphones off my ears and fixed my hair.

"Woohoo!" Mike yelled clapping. I realized there were fifteen other people in there who were clapping. I smiled and did jazz hands and bowed. I walked out of the cube and everybody ran and hugged me. I was thrown "that was incredible" "how do you do that teach me" "you're amazing" "best one yet".

I looked over at Grayson who was sitting on his phone. He was texting somebody but I didn't get to see who it was. Everybody let go of me and I sat down next to Grayson on the couch. I kicked off my shoes and nudged his shoulder as Mike played over my song.

"Oh hey." Grayson looked at me and smiled. "You did amazing."

"Thank you. I appreciate it." I swayed back and forth as Grayson just stared at me with bright eyes. I listened to my song and closed my eyes still swaying.

"Would you like to get lunch soon, I've been meaning to ask you that." Grayson asked me and I stopped swaying and opened my eyes to look at him. I felt my heart explode and my stomach fill with butterflies.

"Of course, I'm free for today if you are." I bit my lip and stared at him. He was perfect. I can't explain it. I just want to marry him.

"Yeah I'm free too." Grayson looked away from me.

After me and Grayson left the studio I got into my car blasting my air conditioning again. I pulled out of my parking spot and followed Graysons car all the way to a new lunch spot I've never been to.
