It was too late.
She had never seen him this...
What do you even call this?
He's been so quiet, that expression he has could mean multiple things. Melanie programmed this and even she didn't know, his emotions were his own now.
That morning, Melanie had gotten the newspaper for her and Blake to read like every other Saturday morning.
But the paper had crushed Blake's hopes and wonders, even when it had brought him the same joy and excitement
"Circus Baby's Pizza World
CANCELLED"The establishment had to close down due to gas leaks. This had devastated Blake right when he read the first letter of the word "cancelled". Becuase what else could that "C" had stood for?
His expression dropped like as if someone had unbolted every expression and emotion besides devastation from him. He stood silent, oh so slient. From the first time he had read about the establishment he had almost blown out Melanie's ears with his voice of excitement, moving around from happiness, but now, his second time reading about it, he's so silent and still.
It.
It hurt Melanie.
She had never seen Blake so happy, a grin so wide.
She had also never ever seen Blake so speechless, not a single tooth showing.
It's almost what Melanie would have imagined him to look like if he was ever broken.
"Blake?"
She had called, feeling concern and worry.
"I'll be fine, don't worry.
Just... Give me a moment to, properly process this, so I.. Can get over this, I promise it's nothing to worry about, yeah?"
He had faked a smile, he never fakes smiles.
He walked back to Melanie's room, the newspaper clutched in hand.It was in this moment that Melanie knew she was right to worry about it, him knowing that there was an establishment filled with other animatronics like him, she knew he had been so happy, but she also knew that if anything happened, and in worse case scenario it just did, that Blake would mabey think of the world in a whole different perspective.
That night, it was almost hard to fall asleep, it never had been. Blake stood where he always did when it was time to "sleep", he had been quiet all day, he probably threw away the newspaper since it was nowhere to be seen, Melanie had been a nervous wreck. All she could think about is if there was anyway around this, and since there wasn't, what would happen to Blake?
Becuase Blake didn't even come out for his daily activities, activities where they would play board games, watch movies, read books, do some crafts, and learn from one another. This troubled Melanie deeply. Would of this had been prevented if she had never thought of making Blake? Of course it wouldn't, she can't stand being on her own for so long, and she loved creating. She probably would have been devastated too, although quarantine was over and everything was fine, she still hung out with Blake. And if she hadn't had make Blake she would have gone to the establishment to see the animatronics and how they worked. Mabey even quit her online job and gotten a job there as a technician. All of these thoughts swirl around inside Melanie's mind, until it drifted her into sleep.
It had been time
She was asleep, that's all he needed. Blake never went into sleep mode, he stood there, quietly listening, until he was for sure she had fallen asleep.
The bear had never been so quiet.
He snuck out of the room, slowly, and steadily, as to not make the sounds of his joints moving too clumped together has her ears would tell her somthing was moving.
He had spend all that time, carefully shifting through the house until he reached outside.
He had never been outside. But he wasn't scared, he kept the newspaper, it had been hidden under his suit, the newspaper had the adress.
"The adress..."It might had been 12:34 A.M.
He knew he would most likley come back in time, or if not at all, it was fine. He was fine, Melanie has implemented him with night vision, if anyone thought of breaking in during the night.
And with that,
He was on his way.
