2 weeks later The project Erick and Rosalie have been working on has been completed and it's due tomorrow. Erick thought it would be a great idea to go over to her house to check everything over one last time. He began to get ready to leave. These past few weeks he has gotten to know at least one thing about the girl , that she likes to sleep. He knew for sure that when he reaches her house she has just woken up.
Eventually Erick left his house and was off to get food.
—⋆✧ Erick arrived at Rosalie's house and rang the door bell. Within a minute she appeared at the door but , she wasn't okay.
" Rosalie , have you been crying ?" He asked stepping in closing the door behind him. The girl began to wipe her tears with her sleeve.
" no , I'm fine." She replied barley above a whisper.
" no your not okay , it looks like you've been crying for years." He answered her back.
" why do you care ?! Why are you even here ?!" The girl shouted startling the boy. Rosalie has never spoken this loud before. Erick stood there in shock until the girl collapsed on the floor and began to cry. Erick immediately placed the food aside and went to her. He went to touch her but , she flinched once more.
" Rosalie please , let's sit on your couch." He pleaded , she nodded and got up making her way to the couch. Erick sat down as well concerned about the girl.
He faced her as she looked down at her hands.
" What's wrong ? Please talk to me , you can't keep this all in like that. I know you've been hurting , I want to know what's hurting you. I won't hurt you , Rosalie you can talk to me." The boy assured her.
She slowly looked up at him their eyes meeting. She's been keeping this in for awhile. Rosalie indeed needed someone and it seems like Erick is that person.
" Really ?" She asked her voice cracking as he nodded.
" I'm here and I'll listen."
The girl wiped her face and took a deep breath in.
" My father would always come back home drunk. He would be very violent and abusive. There were times where he would hit my mother. She would always tell me she was okay to just ignore it. He would never lay a hand on me until the summer before sophomore year. My mother ended up working more so she could avoid my father yet , left me here. Since she wasn't here he would take it out on me." The girl spoke beginning to cry again.
" Two weeks before the summer was over ,one day he came home drunk as usual but , he wasn't alone. He came along with a friend and I was unaware. I only wore a crop tank and some short shorts ; I mean I'm in my house. My dad's friend began to make comments about me but , ofc my dad was too drunk to care." Rosalie began to cry harder now. " He raped me Erick."
Erick in this moment was in shock and he was now crying as well.
" The two of them are in jail now since I told my mother but , I had no one. My mom proceeded with her job and my sister with college. They both never asked how I was , my innocence was taken. I've been hurting and breaking all this time. That is why I dress the way I dress. The baggy clothes don't show off my body nor make me look attractive." She croaked.
" Can I hug you ?" Erick asked , the girl thought about it. She then slowly nodded , the boy wasted no time in pulling her into his arms.
The girl at first was flinching at his touch , she then soon enough relaxed in his embarace. She cried even more into his chest. Rosalie hasn't had anyone touch her ever since.
" Shh it's okay , I'm here." Erick cooed as he stroked her hair.
" Erick I've kept this in for so long , your the only one who knows." She said pulling away looking at him.
" and it's safe with me." He said , he then wiped her eyes with his thumbs.
There was something about his touch that made her feel at ease. It was something she could get used to; having him as a friend.
