It's already been a week since the game and a few changes have been made , since that day. That day after the game Erick informed Rosalie and Natalie about how there would be a birthday celebration for him. Rosalie began to panic but , she knew she wanted to go. She found some strength and decided to make some changes to her appearance. The girl first started with removing her braces. Natalie and Rosalie then went shopping for clothes.
The girl hoped this wouldn't be something she'd regret.
—⋆✧ Natalie was currently doing Rosalie's makeup and hair. Then Rosalie would do the same for her.
" I'm nervous." The girl admitted to her best friend.
" don't be , I'll be there and it will be fun. Plus Erick will totally melt." Natalie teased.
" Nat , we're just friends." The girl said rolling her eyes.
" okay okay." The friend replied putting her hands up in surrender.
Eventually time went by and the two were ready.
" wow." Rosalie said looking at herself in the mirror ( outfit above).
" I'm telling you , you look so good. Now let's go before we miss anything." Her friend said anxious and excited.
Meanwhile Rosalie only grew more nervous.
—⋆✧ The two girls arrived at a mansion , they could already hear the loud music from outside.
" you ready ?" Natalie asked looking at Rosalie.
" let's do this ."
The two walked in since the door was already unlocked. The house was filled with people drinking , dancing , and some who were already drunk.
" the other thing I missed besides you were all the cute boys from here." Natalie said making her way over to a guy. Rosalie laughed at her best friend , she then began to search for Erick.Suddenly Joel walked up to her. Meanwhile , Erick was already watching the scene. He slightly removed Nadia off of him and began to make his way to the two. The girl huffed in annoyance.
" Hey beautiful , who are you here for or are you with anyone?" He asked flashing a smile.
" Actually I'm here for the birthday boy." Rosalie said flashing him her beautiful smile.
In that moment Erick appeared next to Joel.
" I got it bro." The Cuban stated patting his friends shoulder. Joel smiled at the girl once more and walked the way.
The truth was Rosalie was in fact the girl Erick had seen freshmen year.
" Hello beautiful." Erick said not recognizing his friend.
" Happy Birthday Erick." She said giggling , the boy then grew embarrassed.
" Rosalie ? Ay I'm sorry." He pulling her into a hug. " but , you do look great. I'm liking the new look." He added complimenting her.
" Thank you." She smiled once again feeling butterflies.
" here , come with me." Erick interlocked their hands as he guided her through the crowd.
She couldn't help but admire how perfect their hands fit together.
—⋆✧ Rosalie spent the entire night with Erick , he made sure to keep her with him at all times. If he wasn't holding onto her hand , his arm would be around her waist. Nadia obviously couldn't stand this.
" who is she ?" The green eyed girl asked.
" I don't know but , I like her outfit." Alexia admitted.
" she's beautiful." Joel said in awe.
" someone's crushing." Richard teased as Joel glared at him.
" guys that's maybe his girlfriend." Zabdiel shrugged.
" no , he said he doesn't have a girlfriend." Chris pointed out.
The group reminded clueless has to who the girl was.
Eventually it was time to sing happy birthday. Erick still kept Rosalie closed. She insisted this was his moment but , he told her he wasn't going to let her go.
Afterwards Rosalie needed to use the bathroom so she decided to do so before her and Natalie left. As she was making her way back to Erick she heard whistles.
" hey beautiful !" A boy called out as Rosalie froze in her spot. Flashbacks began to fill her mind.
" nice tits." The boy said with a smirk.
" no no !" Rosalie exclaimed beginning to cry and running out of the party.
" asshole." Erick muttered before punching the guy straight in the jaw.
" Erick." Nadia cried running to his side.
" let me go." He spat , pushing her aside and running outside. Richard came to comfort Nadia but, she too pushed him aside in annoyance.
Erick found Rosalie outside crying , he ran to her and touched her. She slightly flinched but , when she saw it was him she went straight into his arms.
" sh it's okay I'm here , no one can hurt you." He cooed.
" what happened ?" Natalie asked coming outside.
" I just want to go home." The girl replied quickly wiping her tears.
" don't worry about it I'll take her." Erick said and there was no going against him, Natalie just nodded.
" let's get you home." Erick said guiding his friend to his car.
" Erick !" Nadia called out from the door.
" where you going dawg! ?" Richard asked
" I'll be back!" The Cuban replied while helping Rosalie inside the car.
—⋆✧ The two arrived at Rosalie's house.
" I shouldn't have worn this." The girl whispered.
" they shouldn't have said that nor viewed you in that way." Erick replied.
" once again thank you for everything , I feel like I can't ever stop thanking you."
" no thank you for coming , your presence was my birthday gift. Also , don't mention it that's what friends are for." He smiled.
Rosalie couldn't help but , feel a bit sad at hearing the word friend but , she'd have to get used to it. It was going to take Erick some time to realize things.
