Chapter Three

I HATE TO ADMIT.. I CRIED WHILE WRITING THIS CHAPTER.. I HOPE YOU LIKE IT!!

"Allison!" oh great, here's Kaitlyn..
"Hey." was all I said.
"Did you talk to Dylan?"
"Um.. you know what? I actually didn't have time to.. I'll try to fit it in tonight." I can already feel the guilt eating away at the back of my mind.
"You promise?"
"Uh, yeah I promise." I have her a soft smile and she gave me a hug. "Thank You." She smiled back.

I walked home from school to see two cop cars outside and my older brother Tyler and his girlfriend Emily wandering outside. Panic rose up inside me. I ran over to Tyler and asked him what happened.
"I called Mom about maybe an hour ago to see if she was home so we could stop by and visit. When I got her I found her dead." My heart and stomach dropped. Tears started welling up in my eyes and Tyler's too. "I- I had no idea what happened." We both started sobbing. Emily gave me a hug and then Tyler.
"Is Dad here?" I asked with a shaky voice.
"Yeah he's talking to the police over there. But don't bother him. When I found her I called 911 then him. He has no idea either.." I wonder what it was like finding our Mom dead.. I don't wanna know. "Allison you should see if you can stay with one of your friends for a little while. I don't know if you want to be in that house, there's obviously a murderer around town. I can't lose you too." I feel so bad. He found our Mom DEAD!
"Uh, yeah I can do that. I'll be right back." I pulled out my phone and decided to call one of my best friends, Emma.
"Hey Allison."
"..... Hey." I said shakily and starting to cry again.
"What's wrong?" I didn't answer and continued to cry. "ALLISON!! What's wrong?"
"Um.. well.. I was walking home and there were two police cars.. and uh.. Tyler and Emily were wandering outside.. and Tyler said he called my Mom I don't know um.. maybe two hours ago now, to see if he and Emily could visit.." a shaky sob escaped from me.. "and well.. when they got here.. they found her dead.." I started to really sob now.. It sounded like she did too..
"Allison... I'm.. I'm so sorry.. What can I do?"
"Well.. I do need someplace to stay for a little while if that's alright with your family.." I managed to laugh a little..
"Of coarse! Allison you know you can come anytime you want.." She is one of the sweetest people ever.. But she can be mean sometimes.. Because I'm her best friend..
"Thank you." I smiled even though she can't see.. "I should get back to Tyler and see my Dad.. I'll probably be over in a bit okay?"
"Okay. Tell your Dad and Tyler that I said I'm so sorry for your loss okay?"
"I will.. See you soon." I hung up and ran over to Tyler and Emily.
