TW! MENTIONS OF GUNS AND BLOOD!

Deku pov

"Let's talk about this inside.", I sigh. He nods and heads into my room, looking around the space.

"Sit."

He sits down on my bed and I sit next to him. "First of all, how do know my name?" "Izuk-" "You will refer to me as Deku. And I'M asking the questions here.", I say sternly, giving him an intimidating glare. "Fine.", he says, his body stiff. "Now answer my question."

He relaxes for a second and looks at me a bit shyly, making my annoyance increase. "I don't have time for this.", I growl, tapping my fingers on my arm. "We were childhood friends.", he blurts out.

I look at him skeptically, trying to think about what he was talking about. I sigh and close my eyes. "Listen, I don't remember anything before the age of five. The first thing I remember is waking up at the academy." I roll my eyes, looking at his expression.

It's a mixture of surprise, confusion and hurt. "Like I said, I don't have time for this. I can't answer your questions, so if you have nothing else to ask of me, leave."

He nods and get's up to leave, my patience hanging by a thread. I take a deep breath, trying to not let it get to me.

Time Skip to Next Day

I begin to get dressed when I see a small glint in the window. I get suspicious, so I grab my gun and hold it to the place where the glint was. When my suspicion begins to fade, I place my gun in my pocket, just to be safe. I text the other Alphas, telling them to bring their guns as well.

I repaint my nails black quickly and let them dry. I then head out of the room, meeting Wave in the elevator. We exit the dorm, walking toward the main building. "I've gotta say, this place is definitely smaller and less advanced.", Wave complains. I nod my head in agreement as we walk through the gate.

We sit down in class, Bear, Thousand and Weather all waiting for us. I sign to them, asking if they have their guns and they nod.

As we wait for the rest of the class to come in, we all talk to each other about safety procedures and go over papers. We sign to each other, making sure that no one would understand what we were saying.

Of course, this wasn't normal sign language. At the QAA, they teach us a specific type of sign language only used at the academy.

Once the rest of the class arrives and sits down, Mr. Aizawa enters with his yellow sleeping bag.

He begins to talk, taking roll and telling the students to shut up.

During the entire first period, I tried to sense the earlier feeling that arose when I saw the glint in the window, but nothing seems to pop up. That is, until Midnight enters the classroom.

I see a small glimpse in the window and immediately pull out my gun. "GET DOWN!", I yell. Heads turn to me as I sign something at the other Alphas. "BEHIND ME ALPHAS!" They pull out their guns and stand behind me as I shoot the window, hearing a gun fire from the distance.

The bullet barely grazes Bear, but it's enough for her to curse and clutch her arm. "Shit-"

The gun fires again, this time not giving us a break. I take aim quickly and fire my gun, hitting the guy head on. We see someone drop from a building about a block away, sharp shooter on the top of the structure.

Suddenly, we hear another gunshot and blood being splattered. I look to the side and see Bear's stomach bleeding, mouth full of blood. The floor is painted a dirty red, the students behind us confused and scared.

I yell in anger, firing my gun again. Weather drops to Bears side and holds a hand to her wound. I hear a scream of pain in the distance, telling me that I got the other one. "Turn off the lights! Now!", I order. Mr. Aizawa complies, turning the lights off and closing the blinds.

I put away my gun and pick Bear up gently, minding the severity of her injury. "Is there a doctor?", I say calmly. They only stare, too shaken up to answer. "Snap out of it, you fucking dumbass! She's bleeding out!", I yell, my voice a bit strained this time.

Mr. Aizawa points the way, and I bolt out of the classroom. "Come on, Himari. Don't die on me.", I whisper. She groans and winces in pain.

I bust open the infirmary door and am greeted by an old lady. I set Bear on the bed and leave the doctor to do her work. She makes me step outside, preparing for surgery. I growl and clench my fists, but eventually comply.

I eye the trail of blood leading back to class 1-A. The other Alphas come running around the corner, serious looks on their faces. "Is she okay?", Weather asks. I shake my head, telling them that I'm not sure.

A few minutes pass before Weather decides to speak again. "I see that you still carry the same gun around.", she says, a small smile on her face. Her smile wavers, the instinct to stay stoic pushing her emotions down. It pushes all of us down. I take my gun out of my pocket and stare at it. "Smith & Wesson Model 27 revolver...", I mumble.

(A/N: Currently crying cause of the reference...shout out to anyone who gets it T^T)

A few hours later, the doctor comes out of the room with a smile on her face. I breathe a sigh of relief as the others enter the room. When I get inside, I see Bear lying weakly on the bed, abdomen and arm bandaged up.

She looks at me, giving me a weak wave. "T-thanks, Izuku."
