Harry and Louis started down the path in silence. Both of them felt too anxious to start the conversation. Louis argued with himself about whether or not he should say something before finally taking a deep breath and asking, "So, what did you want to talk about?"

Harry stumbled over a tree root and looked over in surprise. "Oh, um, I think we should talk about what happened a few years ago. Obviously you've heard my songs so you know a little bit about how I feel," he chuckled nervously, causing Louis to hold his breath at how gorgeous Harry's laugh was, "but you've only released a few songs and I know that a couple of them are definitely not about me. So I don't have that much of an idea about how you feel. Besides your drunken texts the other night, of course."

"Haha," Louis answered dryly, "I can admit that some of those texts were sent while I was completely off my face."

"Wait, what do you mean some of them?" Harry looked shocked and slightly confused.

"Fuck," Louis blushed and looked down, "I wasn't supposed to say that. I blame you for making me nervous. Shit! I wasn't supposed to say that either!" He groaned in embarrassment and walked down the path a little bit faster. Harry caught up easily because of how long his damn legs were.

Harry grinned and forgot what he had asked in the first place. All he could think about was how cute Louis was when he got nervous and started rambling.

"I make you nervous?"

"Umm yeah. Just a little bit," Louis mumbled while kicking a small rock off the path.

"That's okay. You make me a little nervous too." Louis' eyes shot to Harry's and he let a small smile cross his face before looking away again.

Louis thought about what to say for awhile before speaking again. "I'm actually releasing my first album in a month and a half. I think it accurately explains how I feel. I've recorded everything and it's all ready to go, but I have to wait until the end of January for the set release date."

"Oh really?" Harry looked at Louis with an emotion on his face that looked suspiciously like he was proud, "I can't wait to hear it. But a month and a half sounds like a long time to wait to hear how you feel."

Louis looked over at him and said casually, "You've waited four years already. I don't see how it's that big of a deal."

"Louis," Harry whined, "that's not fair."

"Relax mate. I'm just teasing you. I can let you listen to them as long as you don't spill the beans or let other people listen to them. I've got some CDs back at my flat that I was planning to sign and give away. I can send one to you when I get back."

"Or," Harry started cautiously, "We could head back to your place bow and I can listen to them while we talk more? If not that's perfectly fine too."

Louis stared in shock before could to his senses and agreeing to the plan, "But I have to warn you, I wasn't expecting company so my house probably looks and smells like absolute shit."

Harry smiled with a faraway look in his eyes said quietly, "I used to share a home with you for years. I can imagine what it's like."

After that, they made their way back to their cars and Louis watched nervously as Harry followed him to his place.
