BEEP..BEEP..BEEP...screeches the loud heart monitor that has awaken me from a mild coma. I begin to panic as I struggle to open my squinted eyes with the light beaming right into my almost opened pupal. Weakness quickly takes over my body as I rip the IV needle out of my arm. With a gentle tug the oxygen tubes are out of my nose. I lean up from my inclined hospital bed and struggle to my feet yet to fall on my clumsy knees. Slowly crawling into the hall way, a doctor sees me and assist me into a wheel chair that clearly I can't push because of my fractured left arm and a broken right ankle. Along with stitches in my forehead, a confused brain, and bruises all over my awful looking body. I ask the fairly handsome man, " what happened.. Why am I here.."? Tears begin to trickle down my face like rain drops as I studded my words! My mind continues to play tricks on me and I some how start to remember what happened...
"There was a taxi and lights and sirens...eeeverything was hectic and looked like a blur for what seemed an eternity"! The memory floated around in my cranium but just as I had a flashback of what happened a deep voiced male spoke in a stern manner as he sorrowfully said " I'm sorry I'm so so sorry I did this to you, I can never forgive myself or drive a taxi ever again... I thought the light was yellow but turns out it was red plus I was texting and didn't see you but I heard scorching screams and A loud thud and that's when I realized I had hit you, I was afraid so I drove off and never returned but I figured you would be at this hospital since it was the closest".
