How's your day been?
Dreadful. Yours?
What happened?
I visited my father.
Do you want to talk about it?
There's not much to talk about. My father has an odd way of showing affection and by odd I mean non-existent. It also meant I had to see his now wife and Maya, the girl you went to school with.
Do you not get along?
We have different mums, so grew up in different households and our dad never made an effort for us to spend time together. That, and she's always gloating about all the things they do together, rubbing it in my face because she knows he doesn't love me as much as he does her.
I would love to tell you that it's not true and he does, but I know I don't know your situation.
I appreciate you listening. I'm sorry for pushing all of my daddy issues onto you, haha.
We've all got them.
Oh?
Oh yeah. Mines an alcoholic so I somewhat understand.
I'm so sorry, Isaac.
It is what it is.
You're very right.
