"shoot im gonna be late," Hinata woke up late so hes going to be late to morning volleyball practice, he grabbed some breakfast to go as he rushes to put his shoes on. "SHOYOU DON'T FORGET THAT UNCLE VICTOR IS PICKING YOU UP FROM VOLLEYBALL PRACTICE AFTER SCHOOL," Hinata's mum shouts to him as he rushes out the door accidentally slamming it behind him.
Once Hinata got to school he quickly rushes to the club room to get changed, noticing that nobody is in the club room he checks the time realising just how late he is,"ahhh shoot captain is going to tell me off and make me work extra hard"
Hinata slowly creeps into the gym hoping to blend in with the others, but to his luck they are all crowded round Daichi and Sugawara."look who finally decided to show up." Daichi says as the entire team turns around to look at Hinata, causing the team to all snicker."sorry captain i overslept again." Hinata says as he looks down at his feet to avoid Daichi's glare."that's okay Hinata just make sure you don't do it again," Sugawara says happily, hes always had a soft spot for the short boy and tries to make his punishments as nice as possible, much to the rest of the teams dismay.
After practice is over, Daichi tells the team that there is a practice match against Nekoma this upcoming weekend, but this time they are coming down to Karasuno so they wont be needing to travel, but cannot be late to practice or they cant play in the game, (Daichi is just trying to scare Hinata into being on time). After this the team head to the club room to get ready for the school day ahead of them, Hinata and Kageyama race to the club room using all of the little energy they had left."HA boke i beat you," Kageyama exclaims leaning on the wall to catch his breath after sprinting. "yeah well i had to extra receives to do so im more tired than you bakeyama" Hinata says trying to catch his breath as he walks to his bag to get changed."yeah well maybe you shouldn't be late then boke" Kageyama huffed following Hinata into the club room to get changed.
During lunch time the team usually sits together to eat away from the rest of the school because they are like there own little family and enjoy each others company. Hinata usually sits on his phone to text his uncle Victor when hes supposed to be picking Hinata up because Victor forgets everything."Boke who are you texting? Eat your lunch." Kageyama spits at Hinata trying to keep up his cold expression and hide his curiosity. "none of your business bakeyama" Hinata slightly shouts in a defensive way as he puts his phone away to eat his lunch. "Tsk, whatever boke" Kageyama mumbles loud enough for Hinata to just hear. Hinata and Kageyama start there daily bickering while Nishinoya and Tanaka both wonder why Hinata was defensive about who he was texting. "psst bro" Nishinoya whisper yells to grab Tanaka's attention "did you see how defensive Shoyou was just then or was it just me?""nah bro i heard it too, wonder who he was texting for him to not want to tell Kageyama. "Even tho Hinata and Kageyama bicker all the time they tell each other everything and trust each other fully so it was weird for Hinata to not just tell him. "you thinking what im thinking bro?" Noya says smirking at Tanaka. "time for a little investigation..." Tanaka responds with returning a smirk to Noya.
The school day is finally over and Hinata and Kageyama are racing to the club room to get changed for after school practice."HA I BEAT YOU BAKEYAMA" Hinata shouts falling to the ground to catch his breath after beating Kageyama. "barely boke, ill get changed quicker than you," Kageyama pants as he rushes into the club room followed by Hinata. They both get changed as quick as they can and continue to race to the gym, not noticing the two suspicious second years hovering outside the club room waiting for the two idiot first years to run to the gym like usual. "come on bro" Tanaka whispers to Noya as they run into the club room and straight over to Hinata's belongings. "where is it.....AH found it, lets have a look" Noya whisper shouts the last part to grab his partner in crimes attention. The two troublesome second years went through Hinata's bags to try and find his phone, only to be confused when the first thing they see is a text message from someone in a different language. "bro what language is that?" Tanaka questioned to an equally confused Noya, only to be startled by the club room door opening. "what do you think you pair are doing" a rather scary looking Sugawara said as he glared at the two first years, "well? i haven't got all day, hand over what your holding behind your back Noya." "i um, i cant," a very intimidated Noya squeaked, attempting to hide behind Tanaka. "and why is that Nishinoya?" Suga asked trying to hide his laughter at the two terrified second years. "b-because its not mine" Noya said, Tanaka refusing to talk scared it will cause him to do extra receives in practice. "who's is it then? Tell me and i might go easy on you." Suga has now crossed his arms to make himself appear as intimidating as possible. Noya gave in handing Hinata's phone to Suga as the two boys explained there plan to Suga, the two boys were expecting to get a punishment from the vice-captain but instead Suga started laughing. Suga was confused on why Hinata got a text in another language so he decided to join the two second year boys in there little investigation. They put Hinata's phone away and started whispering and giggling between the three until they finally decided to get changed just as the rest of the team showed up for practice.
After practice they all started packing away all the volleyball stuff and headed to the club room together, Hinata didn't bother getting changed because if he got into his figure skating clothes the team would give him weird looks and question him like crazy. Hinata pulls out his phone to respond to Victors text and to tell him hes heading to there usual pick up spot, unaware of the three sets of eyes watching to see Hinata's reaction to a text in a different language. Hinata didn't react obviously, because he and Victor usually spoke in Russian so Hinata learnt it quickly. Once he left the three trouble makers all deiced to head elsewhere to chat. "okay that was hella weird, he didn't even look slightly confused" Noya whisper yelled as the other two nodded there heads in agreement, "maybe we should just ask him," Tanaka states but freezes once he notices Daichi stood behind Suga with his arms crossed glaring at the group. "Tanaka are you okay you look like you've seen a ghos-" Suga doesn't get to finish his sentence as he freezes when he feels a familiar hand on his shoulder. "OH hey Daichi, don't mind us were just uh- talking about volleyball tack ticks, YES! that's what were doing," Noya and Tanaka shove there faces in there hands due to embarrassment watching there senpai fail at lying. "Suga you cant lie for shit, now tell me, what were you three conspiring?" Daichi asks firmly, knowing that he will get the answer he wants and he will get the truth. After they explain to Daichi what they were doing he gives them a lecture on why snooping isn't okay and that Hinata deserves privacy. "however" Daichi starts, "i am very curious as well, BUT we wont snoop, we will just watch Hinata from a distance and subtly drop questions about different languages and watch his reaction for the time being. Got it." The two second years agree along with Sugawara and decide to wait till lunch tomorrow and to not text him at all before them.
