"eve?"

the tiny voice from the living room caught the mushroom haired's attention. "yes?" he asked walking towards the area with dimmed light.

once he walked into the living room, he could see the brunette sitting on the couch, a small pout visible on his face.

sou looked up at eve, his cheeks puffed out.
"i want a hug..." he said, outstretching his arms.

eve's eyes softened as he let out a small laugh. "i was only away from you for 10 minutes." he chuckled, leaning in to give sou a warm hug.

"too long!" sou said, tightening their hug.

the couple stayed in each other's embrace for a few minutes until eve pulled away, much to sou's dismay.

"i still have work to do," eve frowned, also disappointed at the loss of sou's warmth.

a hint of sadness could be seen from the brunette's face. "then...can i have a hug when you're done?" sou asked hopefully.

eve smiled giving the younger a peck on the lips. "of course!" he said, caressing sou's cheek.

"i'll be waiting for you then," sou grinned, giving eve one last kiss.

the mushroom haired walked off, a big smile on his face. "i'll be done soon." he told himself confidently.
