6. All About You

The next two weeks Monika never left your side, and helped you with everything.  With every going day you both fell more and more deeply in love with eachother.  You even shared your first kiss with her, on the first day you were able to walk again.  She made those two gruesome weeks bearable.

Now, with most of your strength regained, but still unwell, you were discharged by the hospital, and picked up by a taxi to take you and Monika to the airport.  Sitting in the back of the Suv, holding hands with Monika, you look over to her, you look eachother in the eyes, mouth the words "I love you" and share a brief kiss, before sitting back again.  The connection between you and Monika got stronger with every passing second.

After a couple hours you had boarded the plane, taken off and were now at cruising altitude.  Not long into the flight, Monika fell asleep on your shoulder, and shortly after you fell asleep too as you were still completely drained.  Upon touching down in Bristol airport you were immediately picked up again and taken home, to Hereford, at last.  You get to you room, and Monika goes in with you, which confused you a little, but you didn't mind, after all, you wanted to be with her as much as you could.  Hungry, you walked back down to the cafeteria, with Monika helping you out.

You arrive downstairs and there are many operators there, some of which you didn't know too well, but you knew most of them.  Upon realising you had arrived, they all got up and quickly went towards you to greet you and ask you how you are. 

"oh my god,  y/n how are you?  are you okay?"  Ela (okay a quick little note here, i know Elas name isn't actually Ela, but its long, polish and has many weird accents and that would be too much for me to type, hehe sorry about that)  asked you.

"I've been better haha". you reply, jokingly.

after speaking to all the other operators for a while about what happened, Masaru, who previously wasn't there, but just arrived says to you

"Hey y/n, i heard what happened, are you okay?"

"yeah, i'm alright for now, thanks, Masaru."

"damn.  Well, I'm here for you if you ever need anything man, it must be tough.  Oh yeah,  Six said she wanted to see you since you arrived back.  You should probably go see her."

"Oh right, yeah I'll go see her once I've finished eating, Thanks Masaru, it really means a lot."

"My pleasure."

You eat Hereford cafeteria food with Monika,  while speaking about normal stuff.  Once you both filled up your stomachs, you head to six's office while Monika heads back to her room.

Arriving at the office, you knock on the door.

That familiar, serious voice replies "one moment" before, a few seconds later commanding "enter"

"Hello y/n."

"Hey, six."

"I know what happened.  The doctors informed me that you are recovering well, yes?"

"slowly, but yes, well."

"good to hear.  Don't worry about operations or training, we will give you all of the off time Gustave deems necessary for your recovery.  As for the incident itself,  I owe you a big thankyou, and so do the whole of the rainbow team.  You saved one of our operators lives out there,  and this only proves to me what i had been told about you, that you are a true leader, and you put everything on the line for the operation and the squad.  What you did out there was truly heroic.  Thankyou, y/n."
