Chapter Four

Sorry for the wait lol

After walking for a few minutes, Obito decided fuck it, and Kamui'd them back to Konoha. His legs were hurting from the amount of walking he was doing. Obito honestly wondered why he didn't Kamui everywhere, it didn't take very much of his chakra, since it was his sharingan, and it was a much easier and nicer way to travel. 

"Warn me next time!" Kakashi leaned on his shoulder, holding his stomach. Ah, maybe that's why. It was weird to feel non-hostile human touch. And Madara did not count. 

A much older Izumo and Kotetsu were napping at the.. orange gates. Obito shrugged, orange was a great color anyways, he was glad Konoha knew it was superior. 

After Kakashi recovered from his nausea, he poked the Chuunin guards harshly. Izumo snorted loudly before waking up, Kotetsu was out like a rock. 

Obito felt nostalgia 

Kakashi and Izumo talked for a few seconds before Kakashi causally pointed at him over his back. Queue Izumo falling out of his chair very loudly. He started whispering very loudly at Kakashi. 

"Is that Obito Uchiha!? NATIONAL WAR CRIMINAL?? Why is he here!? Didn't he turn into ashes or something??" Izumo waved his hands around frantically while Kakashi deadpanned. 

Obito didn't know he qualified as a war criminal yet. He wondered what went down in the future. Izumo stared at him in disbelief. 

Obito awkwardly waved his hand. Izumo looked back at Kakashi and started whisper-shouting again. Obito pet Marmalade to pass the time. 

Izumo seemed more horrified at that. 

He finally seemed to loose steam after half an hour of him talking to Kakashi, looking at him, and generally freaking out. 

He sighed before letting them in, looking dead to the world. 

Kotetsu yawned, blearily opening his eyes. He noted a comatose Izumo, the Hokage, and Uchiha Obito walking past them, and promptly went back to sleep.

Kakashi and Obito casually wandered the streets of Konoha, Obito admiring the new looking houses. In fact, nearly all of them looked new for some reason. Maybe Konoha just decided it wanted an upgrade.

Obito approved quite a bit, spotting more dango stalls than there was before.  He personally knew that one was Itachi's favorite. 

Kakashi seemed amused by Obito's surprise at Konoha. He wondered where Obito was that whole 10 years. Well, he assumed, it would probably take a while to revive from being dust. 

A few civilians looked at the pair in shock, before glaring 'discreetly'. Obito either didn't notice, or didn't care. 

Kakashi wondered what to do first, maybe he would let Obito tour Konoha for a while before calling a meeting to make it legal for him to stay. Most of the Konoha 12 were on the council anyways, so it would probably be pretty easy to convince them as they had a better view of what actually happened. 

He wondered if Obito knew he was Hokage now, and how he would react. 

".. Kakashi. Why is your face on the Hokage monument." Obito stared at him. 

Kakashi eye smiled, "Why isn't it on the Hokage monument?" Obito blinked.

"THAT DIDN'T ANSWER MY QUESTION BAKAKASHI-" Obito screamed, Kakashi chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. 

Pretty much what I imagined would happen. 

Kakashi decided to make route for the Hokage tower to call the meeting. Some of the civilians seemed to be getting a little bold.
