Recovery or no recovery. This was going on through Choi Beomgyu's head, 'Will I recover?' 'Will I find a person just like him?'. He was scared, worried, heartbroken, and his trust had fallen completely. The man he swore he would marry, the one he planned to have children with; had broke his heart and trust.
Beomgyu laid on his side, his head full of thoughts and regret. 'I thought Jeonghan and him were just friends.' He shook his head, 'what Yeonjun thinks or feels is not my problem anymore!' He sighed and picked up his phone, he should distract himself by looking at posts of others.

Beomgyu went to his profile and quickly unfollowed him, 'If he doesn't care, I shouldn't..' Is what Beomgyu told himself countless times but never really did it, he always ended up crying for hours.
After what seem like days of crying, his dad: Choi Jongin walked in.
( A/N: Jongin from EXO, I decided to make it to Choi cause I completely forgot I had to change Beomgyu's family name so it had matched Jongin's, sorry 😩. Same goes for Yeonjun — )
"Hey beom, you feeling better?"
Beomgyu told his parents and brother what had happened and they all comforted him.
"Not really, to be honest.."
Jongin laid beside Beomgyu and hugged him
"What if we went to go get you a new partner? A girl?"
Beomgyu chuckled at his dad effort but turned into a frown
"Dad.. I told you.. I'm gay.."
"Oh right! I forgot"
"Then how about we get you another man?"
"When I heal.. I still feel broken and sad.."
"Alright son, We'll be here to comfort you and get you anything you want"
'All I want is him.' Beomgyu thought
"Thank you.."
As soon as Beomgyu had thanked his father, his brother came in and jumped on Beomgyu, giving him a big hug.
"Come on Gyu! You can't be all sad and moppy all your life! There are hot dude's waiting for ussss!"
"What?"
"I mean- there aren't hot dudes wait for us-"
"Huening Kai, let me drown in my tears pleaseeee"
"You know I would never let you drown in them tears, wipe them because we're going somewhere!"
"Where?"
"The uhm.. park"
Huening Kai gave a fake smile to their father
Jongin gave a suspicious look
"Alright then.."
Jongin left the room and left the two alone
"Alright, here's the deal.. after the party; there's the annoying place where the royal's show off their children. So I was wondering- what if you brought him back into the picture?"
Beomgyu threw a pillow at his brother
"You're only suggesting that cause you ship us together!"
Beomgyu's cheeks turn light pink
Beomgyu will admit that the guy that Huening Kai was talking about IS attractive.. Beomgyu smiled
"See! You're smiling! Look, Jehyun is such a cutie pie that is so soft and squish-able!"
"I-I'll give it a try"
Huening Kai turned to Beomgyu's room door and put up the thumbs up, the door slightly opens; revealing their tall father. Jongin smiled and left.
"Yes!"
"I still need to recover"
"That's completely fine, Jehyun will heal your small fragile heart"
"Fuck my life.."
"Ey! Language!"
"So you're mom now?"
"Screw you"
"I don't know if I even want to get to know Jehyun.."
"Beomgyu.. you can't live like this all your life! Plus, you know how it is.. there is no second chance in love with the same person, it's better to move on from Yeonjun and just go with someone different."
Beomgyu sighs
"I know.. but why do I still love him? Even after everything that he-.."
Beomgyu sits up immediately, making his speed make Huening Kai flinch
"No."
"I don't love him"
