"it was hilarious"
🐍Y/n woke up in a great mood. She quickly brushed her teeth and hair and changed into her Slytherin uniform putting on a sweater over the shirt. She hated the schools skirt, but it didn't matter since her robe basically covered her entire body. She did however, ask her parents to buy her more school pants, so she didn't have to always wear skirts. She quickly put on her shoes, grabbed her school bag and rushed down to the common room, eagerly waiting for Draco.
After a couple minutes Draco came down, meeting her eyes. She smiled at him as she got up from the couch.
"Good morning Draco." She said as she moved some of his hair from his face. He playfully scoffed and rolled his eyes, "Morning Y/n, how'd you sleep?" They both walked out of the dungeon door and into the corridors. "Great, I'm very excited for potions!" She smirked at him and he chucked.
They walked into the Great Hall and sat at the Slytherin table getting their breakfast prepared. Y/n would constantly glance at Hermione, rolling her eyes and scoffing making Draco laugh. "I can't wait for her to look like a complete idiot in front of Snape." She told him. "It's going to be fantastic." He smirked as he ate a spoonful of cereal.
For Y/n classes seemed to take forever, she was eager to get to Potions and sit with Draco as he casted the jinx. She wanted revenge, no one was allowed to hurt her best friend.
She sat in her History of Magic class, constantly tapping her foot waiting for the minutes to pass and class to be over.
After what seemed like ages class was dismissed. Y/n practically ran into Potions, while she waited for Draco. After a couple minutes he walked in, surprised to see Y/n there so early. He sat down smirking, "Excited are we?" Y/n smirked back, "You have no idea."
Professor Snape entered the classroom and began his lesson. "Today we will be making the Beautification Potion, grab your cauldrons and ingredients and begin."
Draco went over getting the ingredients, while Y/n heated up the cauldron. They both started immediately, looking at the book for directions and putting each ingredient inside. After 5 minutes of brewing the potion, Draco nudged Y/n for her attention.
"I'm going to do it now." He smirked and Y/n nodded, keeping an eye out for Snape. Draco brought out his wand, "Cerebrum Gellatus," He casted the spell on Hermione. Her eyes widened as she began to put the wrong ingredient inside. "Hermione no!" Harry yelled. The potion exploded created black smoke around them. Hermione's hair puffed up and her face had black smoke on it, making many people laugh. Professor Snape got up, "10 points from Gryffindor for foolish behavior." Hermione's face turned red as she ran out the doors to clean herself up. Y/n and Draco both looked at each other smirking.
After finishing their potion that Snape looked at, they both began to clean up. Once they were dismissed the two best friends laughed with one another. "That was so hilarious! I wish I could have taken a video or something." Y/n told Draco and he smiled at her. "That will show her not to mess with us." He smirked and she nodded.
Harry and Ron glared at Y/n and Draco, they knew they had something to do with that incident. Hermione would have never made a mistake on a simple potion, it wasn't like her to do so.
Leaving Potions, the two best friends walked side by side with each other. "You think that was funny? Messing with Hermione?" Harry said as he walked behind them. Y/n rolled her eyes, "I thought it was hilarious, did you?" She asked Draco who had a smirk on his face, he nodded agreeing with her statement. Harry and Ron rolled their eyes as they went towards the girls restroom, probably to see Hermione. Y/n chuckled as they continued to walk to their next class: Divination.
Draco and Y/n sat across each other while their other friends sat near them. Y/n actually enjoyed Divination, not for the right reasons though. It was basically a free class where she got to talk with her friends. She didn't hate Professor Trelawney, but she didn't like her either.
Y/n knew some classes in Hogwarts were a waste of space. She figured Hogwarts could have offered better classes than one with a loony professor talking about sight and the future.
"Take the tea from the person across you and read their leaves!" Professor Trelawney exclaimed and they did as they were told.
Professor Trelawney went on talking about someone's grandmother, Y/n didn't care to look up and listen. She just sighed as her and Draco looked at the tea.
"Oh Draco!" Y/n said dramatically. "I sense something terrible in your life! I sense that you'll end up single forever!" She laughed at him and Draco scoffed. "Yeah well your leaves say that you're going to have bad luck for a whole week."
Y/n's eyes widened, "Wait seriously?" She asked him and Draco laughed. "Merlin no, it was a joke Y/n, just thought I'd scare you a bit."
She continued to read over her divination book until Professor Trelawney shouted like she had seen the devil itself. The whole class went quiet as she looked into Potter's tea cup.
"You have the grim!" She exclaimed making Y/n furrow her eyebrows. She opened her book finding what it meant, an omen of imminent death.
"So does that mean Potter will be gone for good?" Draco and his friends laughed.
"Merlin first the dementor and now this Potter?" Y/n joined making Harry roll his eyes. "Just ignore them." She heard Ron tell him, which didn't really make Harry feel better.
Y/n knew Harry could not have died. Hogwarts was the safest place to be at, right?
