Chapter 2
8:00 am
*DING!* A text message. What is it? "Hey, it's me Dazai" A text from Dazai. How did he get this number? "Oh hey!" I sent, confused. I head to work, took the train and got some coffee. Another day at work. "Heyo~" A voice came behind me, I turn around. It's Dazai. "Hey Wenzi, I was gonna ask you. Can you maybe visit my house sometime? You seem like you didn't read my text message." I check my phone. I saw a text sent by Dazai, 'I know it's pretty sudden and you probably just see me as an associate but... wanna come over to my house sometime?' My eyes widened and I felt embarrassed. "I'M SO SORRY I DIDN'T READ YOUR TEXT MESSAGE!" Why did I over react? Because i know what it feels like to be ignored when you asked the main question but get ignored. "Oh, no it's okay uh-" "IM SORRY!" I yell. People are probably staring at me. "Hey Wenzi, quiet down." someone beside me requested. "Oh... sorry." I replied. "Soooo....? You coming over." Dazai asked me. "Y-yeah sure! When though?" Dazai looks at me and smiles gleamingly, "Is wednesday at 4pm good for you?" "Yeah, sure! I'll be there." I replied. Something about this man is weird. I don't really get him. Is he trying to be my friend? His smile though.. It gets in my mind, he has a charming smile that pumps your heart. He's quite a handsome dude I'd say.
4:00 pm
*Ding dong.... Ding dong..* *Creeeeeeaaaakkkk* The door opens. "Hi Dazai~" Dazai smiles. "Come on in." Dazai's house is quite normal. His living room is weird though. He has bookshelves with books that have titles like, '10 effective suicide tips' or 'How To Suicide'. They're all about suicide, he's probably depressed. If that's the reason, I hope he's seeing a therapist. Dazai takes me to his office which is rather messy. He has a notebook that reads 'How To Annoy Kunikida-Kun' which might be a friend? "You may sit down." Dazai says. I sit down. We start talking about work and how our lives have been the past weeks. Apparently Dazai is working at two jobs right now but he won't tell me the reason. He says he has subordinate called Atsushi and says he's very strong and quite cute. A few minutes of talking the door bell rings. *Ding dong... Ding dong...* Dazai excuses himself and opens the door. It was a delivery woman. Dazai looks at her and immediately crouches down and holds the woman's hand. "Oh, you beautiful woman. Please strangle me with your soft and smooth hands... Please commit a double suicide with me!" Dazai starts blabbing about the woman's beauty and how he wants to commit... Double suicide??? I'm not sure what that is but the woman was really confused. I couldn't do anything except sit and just stare at them. Dazai seemed quite annoying seeing him like this.
