PART 26 | THE TRUTH

"Yeah? You called?"

"Meet me this evening I need to ask, and discuss with you about something."

"Where? The usual?"

"Yeah be there by 8 i'll be waiting."

"Alright."

The call ended.

  Doyoung slumped down on his bed when Taeyong dropped the call after he told him what to do this evening. He just couldn't help but to be curious about stuff especially about his Sister who seems to be acting weird these days as what he observed.

  Although he has already got so used by her sister acting up like that and being silent like what she really do but, he can't just help but to be worried especially when he sensed something was going on and doesn't seem so right just earlier.

   His little argument with her was the very first thing that they argued upon after several years of her being an obedient sister to him especially when he only nags her if he knew she's not doing something right.

   And now, he was curious if she really are suffocated by his dominating attitude.

  But before he can even knew it, he fell asleep..

  Doyoung blinked slowly as his eyes adjusted to the cremé colored ceiling of his room when his phone decided to vibrate from his side.

  His eyes widened when he saw that it was Taeyong but he was even more shocked when he realized that it was already 7pm in the evening and no one even bothered to wake him up.

  He turned off the call before typing him a short quick message that he'll be right there inshort before he immediately rushed to take a quick shower and get dressed before taking his leave and driving his car to his destination. By that time, it was already 7:30.

  Upon arriving to his location, he already saw Taeyong sitting comfortably on his seat with 3 bottles of soju and some snacks on the table.

  He sat down, "Hey," he spoke out.

  Taeyong gave him a nod. "Hm? What's up?"

"Nothing. Anyways, i'll be straight to the point here with you Taeyong," he gave him a suspicious look before eyeing him up and down. "Did you do something again to my sister?" he asked as if he was interrogating him.

  Taeyong took a full shot of his glass cup of soju before sighing. "Actually I did not but your sister keeps on insisting that I did something on her, strange it may seems but she keeps telling me that I stole her journal even though I don't even have any idea about that."

  Doyoung raised his brows as if he was thinking about something right now. "Hmm..I see."

"Yeah but anyways, until now this thing keeps bothering me though, that time, the same day as when I confronted you and your 'so called gang', In Ah mentioned that she saw you with some bruises? I mean, for all I care, I only punched Jaehyun and not you so, what happened?" Doyoung asked confused of what truly happened.

  Taeyong pursed his lips,"Jungwoo did that," he muttered under his breathe gripping the bottle of soju on his hand.

  Doyoung's forehead creased as a sudden thought came on his mind. "For what reasons?"

"Well," his face scrunched up. "He was in rage since his girl broke up with him because of me. Like why would he even be mad at me though? It's not like I took his girl from him, I don't even know he has a girl in the first place and I am not interested for all I care." he shrugged taking a gulp from his bottle.

   Doyoung hummed, "I think I have something in mind right now. Would you like to hear it?"

"Alright then, I'm all ears."

  Jihyun ran onto the busy hallway trying to get her way out to get ahead bumping amongst people who seems agitated but they are just shrugging it off anyways since it was normally like that every break time's.

   When finally she saw who she was looking for, she immediately approached him taking a very deep breathe to maintain herself after the marathon she did on the hallway.

"T-Taeyong I have something to tell you-"

  He turned to face her before showing her a small smile,"I know," he cutted her off before nodding his head as he look left and right to secure that no one was coming near the both of them. "Your brother set me up right? He also brainwashed In Ah that I did stole that journal of her's, if I am not mistaken?" he whispered-said making Jihyun blink in confusion for a moment before she nodded her head.

"W-who told you?"

"It's a long-short story but Doyoung helped me on this one."

"Wait, what? How?"

"As I said, it's a long story, but eitherway, care to tell me how'd you know that it's your brother?" he asked back giving her a confused look.

  Jihyun gulped securing that no one was coming yet before taking out her phone even though it's against the school's rule. She immediately showed the photo she took before.

"I took this picture when I saw this thing on my brother's desk before, out of sudden interest.."

   Taeyong's lips formed into an 'oh.'
  
"But eitherway, let's go ahead shall we? We still have something to do before this day ends alright?"

"What? Where?"

"COME ON! WHO ELSE WOULD I WANT TO MEET?"

"Haechan-"

"Ugh! It's not time for that okay? It's In Ah!"

"O-oh, my bad," he pursed his lips before scratching the back of his neck. "Alright then let's go."
