In Another Life (Part 3) - Yeontae

Taehyun waited by the waterfall for Yeonjun, Yeonjun had been taking the camp shifts for Taehyun, he promised to teach Taehyun how to ride a motorbike today. "Hi.." Taehyun got up hastily, giving Yeonjun a big hug. "They hurt you again." Taehyun said muffled into Yeonjun's chest. Yeonjun let out a soft, pained laugh. "It's alright... Let's get started then, shall we?" Yeonjun smiled softly at Taehyun. Taehyun frowned.

"I don't understand why I need to learn. I have you, don't I?" Taehyun pouted. "What if I'm not there?" "You just don't want to drive me around anymore-" "Fine! I don't want to drive you around anymore! I'm busy, I don't always have time for you!" Yeonjun snapped, he was tired, he was in pain and he took it all off on Taehyun. Taehyun looked at Yeonjun in shock, a few tears running down his face. Yeonjun quickly softened up and gave Taehyun hug. "I'm so sorry Taehyun, I didn't mean it, I'm sorry."

Taehyun looked up into Yeonjun's eyes. Yeonjun smiled. "See? I'm not angry." Yeonjun showed off his bright smile before planting a soft kiss on Taehyun's head. Taehyun hugged Yeonjun tight. "I love you so, so much Yeonjun, but- I think... we need a break.. I-" "No. Don't- don't break up with me- please..." Yeonjun pleaded holding onto Taehyun's hand softly.

"You're the only reason I'm still alive, please... don't leave me... we met when I was in a really bad place and you helped get out of my dark hole sadness... Please don't leave me." Yeonjun went down onto his knees, still holding onto Taehyun's hand, tears were streaming down his face. This was the first time Taehyun saw Yeonjun cry.. and he didn't like it. Taehyun sat down in front Yeonjun, tightening his grip on Yeonjun's hands. He wiped away Yeonjun's tears softly with his thumb.

Yeonjun looked up at Taehyun with his puffy eyes. Taehyun smiled a bit with sadness in his eyes before leaning in, his lips brushed softly against his, softly, delicately, like butterfly wings. Taehyun pressed his lips against his boyfriends, the familiar taste of honey seeping in, he smiled into the kiss letting go of Yeonjun's hands and cupping his cheeks. Taehyun broke the kiss, panting before resting his forehead onto Yeonjun's. Suddenly, an idea popped into Taehyun's mind.

Taehyun closed his eyes before letting out a happy sigh. "Let's run away... to a world far away from here... where no one will judge us... where we can be happy... together." Taehyun lifted his forehead from Yeonjun and looked at his confused boyfriend. "What.. what do you mean..?" Taehyun smiled, getting up and staring at the waterfall. "Let's jump." Yeonjun got up, holding onto Taehyun's hand. He took a sharp stone and drew a heart before writing "Kang Taehyun" onto the tree bark. Taehyun smiled doing the same. "So what do you think?" Taehyun asked, Yeonjun smiled softly. "In another life... We'd be allowed to be together... We'd keep all our promises, it'll be us against the world.." Yeonjun said smiling before giving Taehyun a soft forehead peck. "Let's do it." Yeonjun gripped onto Taehyun's hand tightly, staring into the beautiful, shimmering waterfall.

"On 3, we run."

Taehyun's heart was beating hard.

Yeonjun looked over to his boyfriend.

They ran, jumping into the waterfall, their hands still intertwined. Fear filled Taehyun but he could still feel Yeonjun's soft hand holding onto him. He relaxed a bit. He couldn't feel anything, everything was numb, it was dark then his whole life went flashing before his eyes. He smiled remembering meeting Yeonjun for the first time and their first kiss. He found Yeonjun's other hand, holding onto it tightly. Everything went black.
