So many things had happened since her parents planned and accomplished the move to this new town, to the new neighborhood, one so strange and colorful, but at the same time, mysterious because of the big dark mansion almost at the end of the neighborhood, almost alone and abandoned, but every time she saw it, it transmitted peace and even a joy that the other colorful houses did not give.
And in the next few weeks she realized why that feeling, she met Edward... and it was the best day of her life, she thanked her parents for moving into the colorful neighborhood, she met the love of her life.

Yes, at first it was a little scary but not because of the issue that he might hurt her, but because she was sorry and afraid that he would keep on hurting himself, the little scars on his face show that he has hurt himself repeatedly and that hurt her heart.
There were ups and downs in their relationship, of course her parents almost went crazy when they found out (after months) that they were a couple, but when they got used to it, dad gave her the best gift for both of them, taking Edward to the doctor and analyzing the situation of their hands? they would seek to operate on them.

-Edward's point of view-

He couldn't believe that he had finally found that which he had read so much about in books, love... in that beautiful girl, she was so beautiful that when he met her he thought she was a princess... the best thing of all is that she didn't judge him, she didn't treat him badly, she was even the one who introduced him to the people in the neighborhood and he got more friends, if you can call that the ladies who like the way he cuts their hair.

Despite the difficulties they went through together, he didn't think this day would come, the day they would finally go to that precious doctor she told him so much about... his girlfriend, it was so strange to call her that but he loved it at the same time.
His life was sweeter and his joy was great to know that he would have hands just like hers, that he could caress her tenderly without fear of hurting her.

He didn't care much for her appearance, he never did. The day before the surgery he was with her all the time, she sang soft songs to him so he wouldn't get so nervous... they kissed several times and he promised her... that after the surgery he would have a surprise ready for her.

After the successful surgery, Y/N was by Edward's side for the entire recovery time. Edward slowly got used to using his hands, bending his fingers and taking things, he exercised this every day so that his ligaments and muscles would get used to this new body type.
Soon he was using his hands very naturally, he could take glasses, things and not throw them away, he could caress the cheeks of his beloved Y/N and every time he could he would take her hand and intertwine their fingers... he loved that... but... there was something else that Edward wanted to touch... and he knew that Y/N also wanted it since she taught him that once... and he wanted to fulfill that dream of both of them... as a couple that they are.

Today they were in their mansion, Y/N's parents got used to her spending the night there, that's why they helped set up the mansion, they brought in furniture and cleaned everything up, they took away the cobwebs and repaired the windows, they didn't take away the essence of Edward in the place, they just cleaned up a little.
Y/N was lying on the bed in the master bedroom while Edward was playing with her hair a little bit, making braids and winding locks of it.

Edward: 'Y/N... I was thinking... about that thing you told me about last time but we couldn't do it because of my hands...'

Y/N: 'mh? What a thing, dear... I think we have talked about so many that I don't remember '.
