Sarah was walking to the park after school. She usually went there if there was nothing else she had to do. All she really did was swing and read her books. So,as usual,Sarah was not more than 10 feet away from the park entrance when she thought she heard something.

She took a step back and mysteriously looked around. She hadn't seen anything ,and kept walking. She got 2 steps further when someone pushed her on her side. She was a little wobbly but managed to stand. Sarah screamed so loud, she gave herself chills.

She looked to her right to find Parker laughing so hard that he almost cried.

"I got you so bad!" said Parker Laughing.

"Really funny." Sarah murmured

"Sorry, how can I make it up to you?" Parker said, still grinning

"Go get me another book? The one we saw last week. The library is right across the street, you'll make it." said Sarah

"Fine." Parker said rudely

Later on that day, Parker had picked up the book they had talked about earlier and walked to Sarah's before dark. Parker knocked on Sarah's door and is invited in by Sarah's mother.

"Thank you Ms. Carlisle." Parker said

Sarah's father died a few years ago. They don't really like to talk about it. Ms. Carlisle hasn't been the same since actually. So they try not to bring it up.

"Would you like to stay for dinner? Ms. Carlisle asked

"No thank you. My mom wants me home for dinner tonight." Parker said politely

Sarah rushed down the stairs to claim her book.

"Thanks." Said Sarah, snatching the book from Parker's hands

"I owed you,no problem." Parker informed her

"I better get going, don't want my mom to get worried." Parker said rushingly

"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow then?" Sarah asked

"yeah, see you at the bus stop." Parker said

Sarah and Parker have gone to the same school since pre-school.

They've know eachother since they could remember. They're very close, but nothing more than that.

Although Parker may have wanted it to be.
