Amethyst is 17 years old and a junior in highschool. Her family always seemed normal until the day her dad got fired from his job for budget cuts. He then started to drink and abuse her family. Her mom couldnt take it anymore and up and left. Then her neighbors reported her dad and she fought for custody of her younger 13 year old brother Dylan. Since shes almost 18, they let her have him.
