iProm(ise) |part 1|

Sam was just about to go home from school. She was very happy, because she got another A from exam and she was drinking her very favorite juice, when Mindy saw her and called her. Sam immediately stopped being so happy.
Mindy: Hey, Sam!
Sam: What?
Mindy: As you probably know, there will be a prom this Saturday and I need your help.
Sam: I'm listening.
Mindy: Could ask Freddie if he has a partner for the prom? I wanted to go with him, because my boyfriend isn't coming here this weekend.
Sam: Yeah, I'll ask him.
Sam came to Freddie's locker. Freddie had already been standing there.
Freddie: Hi, did you finally stopped hating Mindy? I saw you talking with her.
Sam: Yeah, I guess...
Freddie: Oh, that's cool. And could I ask you something?
Sam: Ok...
Freddie: Well...I don't have a pair for the prom and I was just thinking that I could invite...Mindy. Her boyfriend is not coming, but I don't know if she would like to go with me. Could you ask her who she would like to go to the prom with?
Sam: Yeah...I will ask her.
Sam came to Mindy.
Sam: I'm so sorry Mindy, but Freddie is already taken.
Mindy: Oh, really? Ok, then. I'll look for somebody else.
Sam: Ok, bye!
Sam came back to Freddie.
Sam: Turned out that her boyfriend is coming for the prom.
Freddie: Seriously? Ok. Thank you anyway. Now I'll better go, because I'm going out with my dad.
Sam: Well...I would be jealous if my dad was normal, but I'm not.
Freddie: Ok, bye.
Sam: Bye!
Freddie has gone and Sam was alone on the corridor.
Sam: Haha! Losers!
Sam has trown up her empty bottle of juice and went out from the school.

It was next day in the morning. Freddie came to Carly's house and saw her searching in the internet.
Freddie: Hi Carly, what are you doing?
Carly: I'm trying to find some DJ for the prom, but everyone is busy and the rest don't answer the phone.
Freddie: Well, maybe that's because it's seven o'clock right now. And by the way, guess who met his father yesterday.
Carly: You did? Wow, that's cool. I mean,  I think so, because I don't know how it feels.
Freddie: It was really cool. We have so much in common. He took me yesterday to the restaurant and we talked the whole evening.
Carly: But does your mom know that?
Freddie: No, she doesn't want me to talk with my dad.
Suddenly Sam came downstairs in pajama.
Sam: Oh, hi guys.
Freddie: Hi Sam, why are you still in pajama? We are starting school in an hour.
Sam: I won't get dressed when I'm hungry.
Carly: Wait, I'll go for Savanna and we will eat breakfast together.
Freddie: Well...I'll better go to Carly.
He came upstairs and noticed Carly standing behind the door of Savanna's room. She was listening to Savanna singing.
Freddie: Wow, she has such a good voice.
Carly: Yeah. I've got an idea!
Carly opened the door. Savanna was brushing her hair and singing, but once she noticed Carly and Freddie she got scared and stopped singing.
Savanna: What are you doing here?
Carly: I wanted to ask of you wanted to eat breakfast with us, but I have heard your voice and I just have to ask you to sing at our prom. Please!
Savanna: No! Never ever in my life.
Carly: But why? Time is running out and I don't have any DJ, so there will be no music if you won't agree.
Savanna: No, I'm too afraid that I won't sing well and everyone will be laughing at me.
Carly: And what if your boyfriend would sign with you?
Jaden: I agree!
Carly: What?! Where is he?
Savanna opened the window which was covered by the blind and they saw Jaden sitting on the fire stairs.
Jaden: Hi!
Carly: Do you often go to Savanna's room that way?
Jaden and Savanna: Sometimes.
Jaden: I just wanted to go to school with Savanna, but then I heard her singing and I wanted to listen.
Savanna: Babe, do you really want to sing with me on this prom?
Jaden: Of course I do!
Savanna: Well...ok, we can do it.
Carly: Yay! Finally! The prom has been prepared.
Savanna: Actually no, because you still don't have any music. Jaden could play the guitar, but what about the rest?
Carly: Noooooooo....
Freddie checked what was the time.
Freddie: Guys hurry up. We'll better go to eat breakfast or we'll be late for school.

In the evening iCarly team was about to do an another transmission on their channel.
Carly: Freddie, have you prepared everything?
Freddie: Yep, now he won't be able to get to anything that has our IP address without a password.
Carly: Cool.
Sam: So let's start.
Freddie: In five...four...three...two...
Carly: Hi everyone! Before we will start, we want to apologize for our technical problems from the last week.
Friends did their transmission without any problems and they were very happy about it. They sat down in the studio, started drinking juices and talking.
Carly: We finally got rid of this hacker. Ii don't know what I would do if he took our channel.
Freddie: You know what? I think it could be because of selling our website. Now the slap company is responsible for protecting it, so I guess this is all their fault.
Sam: Ughh...can we just stop talking about it and start enjoying the fact that we got rid of this person and that tomorrow we will be on the prom!
Savanna: Apropos, Sam, who are you going with?
Sam: I guess with Nick, but he hasn't invited me yet, so I'm not sure.
Freddie: I told you that he's not good for you.
Carly: Freddie, what are you talking about?
Freddie: That he doesn't respect her.
Sam: How can you know that? You don't know him as well as I do.
Savanna: Ok, let's change the topic, Carly, what about the music for the prom?
Carly: Fortunately, everything is prepared. I asked our school music group if they could play on the prom for  good grades from miss Briggs and they agreed.
Savanna: And what if she won't do it and they'll be very angry.
Carly: It's her problem, not mine.

Few hours later Carly was reading the comments under the last iCarly and she noticed some comments from the people who were going to the same school as iCarly team. Some girls were complaining that they couldn't go to the prom with Freddie because he's already taken. Carly was suprised, because she didn't know about it, so she decided to ask Sam if she knew something about it.
Carly: Hey Sam, do you know who is Freddie going to the prom with? Because some people in the comments are writing that he has someone.
Sam: Ughh...it's probably because of Mindy. She's such a gossip girl.
Carly: What?! Did you tell her that Freddie has a girlfriend for the prom.
Sam: Maybe...and what's wrong about that?
Carly: That now Freddie will be alone at the prom! Unless you will invite him.
Sam: Me?! Are you crazy? No! Never!
Carly: So tell him right now, so he could invite Mindy.
Sam: No!
Carly: Why?
Sam: Because...you know her...she's just looking for fame...and she's not nice...and...
Carly: And you really think that your boyfriend is better?
Sam: Well...
Suddenly they heard a loud argument between Freddie and his mom. Freddie came to Carly's house and locked the door, so his mother couldn't get there.
Freddie: Guys m, you won't believe what just happened.
Carly: What happened?
Freddie: My dad just came to our house and he tried to apologize to my mom, but she just kicked him out of the apartment and banned me from seeing him!
Sam: Wow, I wonder what happened that your mom is so mad at him.
Freddie: I don't  know and I don't care. By the way, Carly could I sleep here tonight? Please. Tomorrow I will move to my dad, but I don't want to go back to my house anymore.
Sam: Yes of course.
Sam: Wait, what? Where are you moving?
Freddie: To my dad.
Sam: I know, but where is he living?
Freddie: In LA.
Sam: No! You can't just leave us like that! And the programme. Carly tell him something!
Carly: I think that if he will feel better with his dad, then he should go. We will find another tech guy and we'll be visiting him and chatting online.
Sam: But he's our friend and friends don't leave the friends just like that!
Freddie: Don't worry Sam, I'm sure that your fantastic boyfriend will cheer you up.
