Hi, everyone! This is the first chapter of my Servamp fanfiction. Enjoy!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"It's a bad idea", Mahiru mumbled for what was at least a hundredth time since they arrived. It's a very bad idea. I don't even know why I agreed to come.
-Maybe because your maternal instincts yelled at you not to let us go alone? Misono suggested while avoiding a root.
-I have NO maternal instincts!
-yeah yeah,if you say so. . . . "
The brunette was about to reply, but his friend was not listening to him anymore. He bit his lip as they hurried to catch up with their companions far ahead. As he walked, the teenager looked back at the latest events in his mind, trying to understand where, when and how he had agreed to take part in this silly excursion.
It all started from the countless stories of Sakuya, his best friend. He had told them that there was a legend on a manor house a few miles from his home that it was inhabited by vampires. The few people who had ventured had come back from it with two holes in their neck, emptied of half their blood and could only repeat the words "vampire. . . . DANGER. . . never again. " He then asked his fetish question, "What part of what I said is a lie?" with a creepy smile, which had earned him a kick from Mahiru. Then, through a mysterious discussion whose origin was unknown, they all agreed that, since the next day was a Sunday, they could go and check whether that legend was true or not. And in the case of Mahiru, who normally would never have accepted, well. . . he had given in to the majority.
This explains why they are currently in the forest -sorry, the garden - of a private property, forbidden and abandoned with, as only weapons (we never knew), a flashlap and anti-mosquito spray. If we didn't count their phones that, if they hadn't been usable, could have been used as projectiles.
"We're here! Sakuya joyfully announced . "
In front of them stood a huge house with dark walls and covered with tiles added to countless windows with dark and drawn curtains. There were several holes in the walls, a strange black liquid unidentifiable at their feet and a framed text engraved on the huge front door.
"Whoever enters this house will not come out unharmed. "
There was a silence, then:
"What if we go home? Mahiru proposed.
- You're joking! Sakuya exclaimed. Let's go!
-I feel a demonic presence", Licht said, adjusting his backpack with wings. That's a bad sign.
-Licht, you feel that presence everywhere.
-But she's much stronger here. "
Used to it, Mahiru abandoned and followed Sakuya, whose green hair was already disappearing in the dark, with the immense silhouette of Tetsu beside him. Misono imitated him while whispering:
"And they have a map of the house at least so we don't get lost?"
The lack of response made him groan with despair.
Somewhere on the second floor. . .
" Nii-san, I think we have some visitors.
-Can't deal...Hostile or not?
-Don't know. What do we do now?
-. . . Waiting for me to finish my nap. "
A collective sigh crossed the small assembly as a blanket folded over a shape already half asleep.
