You and Carter are best friends. You guys are in high school together. You like Carter more than friends. ...................................................................... You say" Jesusit's cold...I'll be back Carter" as you began to walk back home,you felt a hand grab your shoulder pulling you back. Carter says" you can have mine" You say" but you'll get cold too" Carter says" it'sok were not that far away from school and plus it will look better on you anyways" You blush hard and say" ok fine" Carter takes his hoodie off which slightly reveals his abs. You scan over them quickly and look back up at Carter. He finally takes it off and gives it to you. You say" thanks" You slip it over your tiny body and it is literally a dress. Carter laughs at you and says" hurry we gotta go" and starts to walk. You run after him and walk beside him.
__________After some classes__________ You wait at the water fountain so Carter and you can walk to class. You peek around the hall and see Carter. He runs over to you and says" sorry we had to read our presentation and Emily was so slow" You laugh and say" it's ok" He smiles and pulls you into a hug. You hug him tighter and pull away. You say" come on we have Math" He nods and you guys walk to class talking about Emily's stuttering problem but no shade at Emily though.
Carter opens the door for you and you say" thank you" He smiles and says" no problem" You walk into class and see your girlfriends. You pull them all into a group hug and say" hey guys" They say" hey or sup bitch" After a bit of chatting the bell rings. You say" bye guys I'm going to sit next to Carter" Your friend Isabela says" OoO" You say" shut up"
You walk away from them and sit down next to Carter. You think about all the times you could've told Carter that you like him. You were taken out of your thoughts by Carter saying" there is a new girl" You say" really what's her name" Carter says" Ashley Newman" You nod and bend down to get your books for Math. You sit back up and say" Carter I forgot my math homework at your house last night...did you bring it" You looked up from your book and see Carter not even paying attention. You follow his eyes and it lands on a girl.

You turn back to Carter and he says" She's gorgeous...right Y/n" You say" yeah" Carter says" I'm going to talk to her" You nod and say" good luck" trying to be a supportive friend. You watched as he walked up to her and they immediately started talking. You see them laughing. Damn,he already got her.
You looked away trying to hide the fact you were breaking. You saw that light in his eyes beaming out of them when he was talking to her. You felt your chest tightening up and man it was hurting like hell. Carter ran back to his seat and sat down.
The door opened and Mrs. Smith says" take out your protractor and compass everybody"
You brought it out and the teacher began teaching. This pain was becoming unbearable. You raise your hand and say" M-Mrs. Smith may Igo to the b-bathroom" Mrs.Smith says" are you okay" You say" y-yeah may I go now" She nods with a concerned look.
You stand up and rush to the door. You open it and close it behind you. You mentally slapped yourself for stuttering like damn Emily. You go to the office cause screw the bathroom and say" can I go home I'm not feeling well Janisce" Janisce says" did you finish your last class" You say" No but I'll ask a friend to teach me the lesson" She says" fine who do you want to pick you up" You say" I'll walk" She nods. You run put of he office and go to your locker. You open it quicklyandgrabyour stuff luckily you brought your backpack with you. You stuff all your books in there and turn around bumping into someone.
You look up and see Carter. Carter says" Are you skipping school" You scoff and say" of course not,you know Janisce would have my parents on speed dial" turning back to your locker and grabbing your Chemistry book. Carter says" we already had Chemistry" You turn back around inches away from Carter's face. You push Carter away and say" have you ever heard of personal space" and walk away so you can get to the main doors. Carter grabs your hand and says" where are you going" You pull your hand away from his and say" Home...you know like uhm like period cranps" which is a lie. Carter laughs and says" oh ok I'll see you tonight" You awkwardly laugh and say" bye" You fast walk towards the main doors and push them open.
