You and Carew have been dating for 9 months. He has an adorable dog named Nalu. You guys are having a picnic date. ...................................................................... You grab the blanket and a champagne bottle. Carew says" do you need help" You say" no just get the basket and Nalu" He nods and gets Nalu out of the back seat. You close the trunk to his car and say" do we got everything" Carew nods and says" let's go" He grabs your hand tightly and you smile.
You guys walk hand in hand. You say" babe that's a good spot" and point to place that is very shady. Carew says" you have a good eye my love" You blush with a smile on your face and say" thank you" He smiles down at you and you guys walk over to the spot.
Carew sets the basket down and you let go of his hand to set the blanket down. You lay it down and grab the basket putting it in the middle. Nalu comes over to you and lick your leg. You look down and say" hey beautiful " and scratch behind her ear. She smiles at you and locks your hand. You giggle and say" your so beautiful Nalu" She wags her tail and you stand back up.
Carew says" I think we're ready" Nalu lays down on the blanket and you and Carew sit down. You stare at Carew admiring his face structure and how his eyes are so blue. Carew says" is there something on my face" and reaches to touch his face. You pull his hand away from his face and say" no"
You lock your hands together with his and he just smiles and kisses your hand. You look down and smile. Blushing really hard.
This man gives you butterflies by his touch.
Carew let's go of your hand and lifts your chin so your looking at him. Carew smiles and says" your really red" You say" Stop my cheeks hurt" and cover your face" He laughs and says" want champagne" You nod and say" I have a something to tell you" Carew says" what is it" and gives you a champagne glass with champagne in it and gives Nalu a doggy treat. You say" I got in" Carew says" you got in to Texas Tech" You nod and say" I got the letter yesterday...what about you did you get in to LSU" Carew looks down and says" I-I didn't apply for LSU" You look at him confused and say" What how...you got the letter that they wanted you" Carew says" I declined there offer" You say" Carew going to LSU is your dream school, wh-" Carew cuts you off and says" I applied for Texas Tech and got in. The reason I declined LSU's offer was because of you and my family" You say" Carew, really" Carew nods and says" yeah I like being close to you and Nalu" he pets her as she sleeps.
You look at him in awe and say" come here" Carew scoots over to you and you kiss him. He kisses back and his hands go to the side of your face. You pull away slowly and keep your forehead on his and say" Damn you Ellington. I love you so much" He laughs and says" Damn you Y/L/N I love you more"
