FORENSICS GUY:
"If she just used this thing to transport them I might buy that, but if there was a struggle in here I would have found something. I'd start searching then woods near the rest stop."

"Yeah, half the cops in the state
are doing that right now."

Sahi walks off --

SAHI (CONT'D):

"When you're done with this thing

 "Mrs. Gold, I'm Detective Sahi--"

Hannah turns, her expression worn with shock, but still composed doggedly holding on to herself. She has some photos laid out on the table, she hands one to Sahi.

"This is a better picture than the one my husband gave you. You can see her eyes more clearly..." Hannah says now looking away.

Sahi takes the picture and nods. Hannah now staring up at her, imploring her with a hard look, eyes swelling with tears.

THE JACKSONS' HOUSE

Grace is sitting on the couch next to Detective Sahi who's distracted, reading a text on her phone. Grace is composed, but there's dread in her voice.

 "Did we pass?"

'What?" Detective Sahi now looking up from her phone.

"The poly-whatever -- the lie detector we took this morning."

Sahi puts her phone away.

"Sorry -- yes, we appreciate your cooperation."

"Hannah's lawyer friend told us it would help speed things up.It's embarrassing, all this fuss. Everyone's going to think we're crazy when those two come out from wherever they're hiding." Grace says.

"You have some reason to think they ran away?" Sahi said peeking at her phone in her pocket.

'No, they were happy, but they must have run away..." She looks to the window, drifting as she listens to the faint sound of congregating neighbors outside. "The police captain said you've solved every case you've ever been assigned." Grace said with tears sliding down her cheek.
