"Hey bud. Ready for cake now?" Christian asks Noah, who was occupied by playing with a new toy dinosaur he got for his birthday. Noah looks up at Christian, playfulness in his eyes. Christian misses when he was that young. So innocent and unaware of the bad in the world.

Lexi was in the kitchen, getting pictures of the cake and then putting the candles in the cake.

"Christian!" she yells. "Where's the lighter?"

"Um, second drawer on right off of the sink. I think." he replies, trying to get Noah to come to the kitchen so they can eat the cake before he has to go to bed.

"Found it. Thank you!" she yells back, only to see the boys coming into the kitchen.

"Why you yell, mama. Inside voice." Noah reminds her, which makes her chuckle. Christian sets Noah on the counter next to the cake. Lexi goes to light the candles, which scares Noah a bit, because it's fire, of course. Noah chose a dinosaur cake. He's in a dino phase at the moment. Once Lexi got the candles lit, they started to sing.

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Noah! Happy birthday to you!" Christian and Lexi sang.

"Blow out your candles and make a wish baby!" Lexi says, and Noah bends down to blow out the candles. His parents cheer him on, which makes him happy.

"Mama! Guess what!" Noah exclaims, excites to tell them what he wished for.

"What baby?" his mama replies.

"I wished for baby. Baby brother!" Noah says, very cheery about his wish. Christian and Lexi just looked shocked at what their son had just said.

Christian looks at his wife. His girl, in so much pain and he couldn't do anything about it. He felt terrible, and also because he sort of put her in this position. He grabbed her hand as another contraction hit, and whispered how good she was doing throughout the pain.

At 6:13 pm, Lexi pushed one last time. At 6:14 pm, their little boy was born. A whopping 8 lbs, 5 oz. 20 inches long. They were so happy. Their little boy was here. He was healthy. He also had a name:

Noah Joseph Yelich.

He was so perfect. Even when he had to be fed all the time. Even when he cried for no reason. Even when he pooped all over himself. He was still their boy and they were so in love with him.

Hehe. There will be a bonus chapter. :)
