Once upon a time there was a young princess that everyone loved, but sadly one day she just... disappeared. Not long after the princess disappeared a mother with four children took in a toddling girl who they had found in the middle of the road. The mother owned and lived in a majestic mansion located not only in the richer part of the kingdom but surrounded by a gorgeous view of the mountains.

The home was very isolated. So the young girl grew up with her only contact being the spiteful and jealous family who took her in. Because of an engraved medallion she wore the young girl was named Angel--it was a name that suited her perfectly. As she grew older, Angel became more and more beautiful. The mother was furious because her own children were all rather plain and unremarkable. It was because of this natural beauty that the mother locked Angel away on their property--forbidding her from ever leaving the estate. The mother kept Angel hidden away in fear that if she wasn't kept hidden that she would take the attention off of her own children. That was how poor Angel's life went until the month she was to turn sixteen.

Ond day there came news that the royal prince was having a ball in order to find out if the lost princess, Angellicia, was still living under the care of one of her kingdom's people. The royal prince was supposed to marry her when she turned sixteen which would have been that very month.

"Oh, mother may we go, please?" asked Angel.

"Of course your siblings may go, but you have chores to attend to," replied her mother.

"Yes, mother."

"Oh, goodie!" exclaimed Nea Angella and Navaeh, Angel's two sisters.

"Do we have to go?" hollered Di Angelo and Litious, her two brothers.

"Yes, now stop your complaining. Angel, get back to your work," commanded her mother.

Angel went back to the marble staircase and proceeded to scrub the floor.

Not even ten minutes later she heard Navaeh yell, "Angel, get in here now!"

She dared not disobey and went straight to the sitting room.

"You need to fix up our best dresses and your brothers' suits," her mother commanded.

"Yes, mother," Angel replied, wishing that there was some way that she could go to the ball.

And so it was that for the following three days she dreamt of what the ball would be like while she worked until her mother finally approved... often times though her mother made her start over because she found some imaginary mistake where there were none to be found. On the day of the ball Angel helped them get ready with a heavy heart and did all the finishing touches as she wished she could go. When her family was finally gone she wept and wept until she had no more tears to cry.

It was then that she heard, "What is the matter?"

"Oh, who is there? Who are you?" was all she could say before she saw a beautiful young black woman in all white with wings, a tiara, and a wand.

"Oh, possible you could not have forgotten me? The one who made sure your 'mother' would stumble upon you as you slept? I'm your Fairy God Sister, Rose."

"What do you mean you made sure she'd stumble upon me?" Angel asked.

"You will find out soon enough. Now, time to get you ready. I need a pumpkin, four husky pups, and two sheep," Rose replied.

"Oh, but what for?" Angel asked.

"You'll see," Rose said as Angel had everything before you could say 'the princess is found, the princess is found'.
