Glory

"Glory dont peek."

"Deathbringer for the hundredth time, I am not peeking. Glory snapped back into darkness as she was basically dragged through the Rainforest by Deathbringer, who insisted they were nearly there. Wherever there was anyway.

As she was dragged along and nearly crashing into trees a few times while being blindfolded. She wondered about if Starflight and Tamarin felt this way all the time. It was reassuring to her that she could take of the blindfold any second she wanted and use her eyes. But Tamarin and Starflight on the other talon didn't have that choice.

"We're here." Deathbringer said, his voice breaking into her thoughts. Glory finally felt him stop, quite suddenly, and the Rainwing nearly crashed into him. Still blindfolded, he tugged her up something, not high at all but definitely ontop of something. Her claws scrapped against stone, suggesting that she was on a boulder although it seemed slippery, as though it might be wet. She also thought she heard some splashing so she had an idea of where Deathbringer had brought her to.

"So I can take the blindfold off now? Or I'm not allowed to see the surprise?" Glory said sarcastically.

"Well the surprise would be pointless if you couldn't see it my Queen. For its almost as beautiful as you" Deathbringer replied, making Glory have to stomp out all of the pink scales that were surely showing up on her traitorous scales but it was a bit harder to do that when she couldn't exactly see her scales. Or anything for that matter.

But the Rainwing Queen snorted in response and folded in her wings, trying to hide the emotions her scales might be showing. She swept her tail on the boulder until she found Deathbringer's. She felt him twined his tail with hers'.

"Surprise!" he said as he wrapped his tail around hers. He took the blindfold off of her but he wore a teasing grin.

Before Glory could snap at him, she spotted what the Nightwing had wanted to show her. It was a lake that wasn't too large but Glory could probably extend her wings atleast two times over. She figured the water was deep, judging by how she couldn't exactly see the water even though it was crystal clear. But around the lake were trees hanging overhead with light pink flowers in them, she had no idea what type of trees they were though.

Glory loved the stars. She had always found them strangely beautiful for some reason. Glory hadn't seen the stars much growing up, but sometimes, through the sky hole in the study room, she would gaze up at them. But when the stars reflected off the water in the lake it seemed like whole new experience.

"Wow. Its beautiful." She said outloud.

"I was out scouting when I found it." Deathbringer explained as he faced her. "I came across this but I wasn't sure when to bring you. I thought it'd be a perfect place for a date." He gave her one of his smug faces as he finished explaining.

Glory rolled her eyes at him with a small frown and pushed him into the lake.

He, for some reason, wasn't expecting it and he was caught off guard. The Nightwing's talons slipped on the rock which was already wet to begin with, and tried to use his wings for balnce. However, he ended up falling into the water anyway. But because his wings were extended he made a huge splash. Meanwhile, Glory had to put her own wings over her head to avoid getting wet. For a second, he flapped his wings open vigriously to stay afloat, spraying water everytwhere but quickly composed himself.

"What a way to ruin a romantic moment." Deathbringer observed, using his wings to swim closer to her so he was less than a wingspan away but he stayed in the water. A grin quickly formed on his snout despite being wet and probably cold."And for what? To get me all wet? Hmm not worth it my Queen."
