Anna's POV: I decided to wear my "We Are Stars" shirt Christian made. We got to the park a few hours early so Connor and I could catch up. "So where did you meet this guy?" asked Jeremy "Don't worry Jere Bear, I've known this kid since we were in diapers." I laughed at how worried he was.
Jeremy and I had dated for a while when we first started college. After a few dates I told him that I was sorry but I didn't feel the same way. He was kind of sad about it for a while but he got over it and we've been great friends ever since.
The first thing Connor said when he saw me was "Woah? Anna? You're, like, gorgeous! Same as ever." he said with a wink. I just blushed and said "haha thanks Connor, you're not too bad yourself." Jeremy just looked at the ground. As you can tell, I'm the most awkward person alive. Which entails being terrible at flirting. "oh hey, is it okay that I invited some more people? Just like one." "Oh ya! That's totally fine! The more the merrier!" he looked relived "Ok! He'll be here soon, he just had to get some coffee."
Pretty soon people start showing up and then you see a guy walk up to Connor. He looks at you and says "Nice shirt, have I seen you somewhere? Wait no! You're in that collab channel!" I stood there, frozen. I couldn't believe it. I was talking to Christian Novelli. Then I remembered, I hadn't replied yet. Then I looked at Connor and whispered in his ear, through gritted teeth "You didn't tell me you were talking about CHRISTIAN NOVELLI!" Connor laughed "Ya, I didn't think it was a big deal, I thought you'd already met him" you just stand there for another minuet. Then I finally said "Uh, ya, sorry. I'm... Uh, Annabelle, but people call me Anna... And you're Christian Novelli. And I'm talking to you right now. I'm going to stop talking now." I say basically all in one breath. Christian just smiles. "Well nice to meet you Annabelle." "You can call me Anna." I said blushing furiously.
