Anna's POV: I was sitting on our usual bench, waiting. I thought for sure he wouldn't show up. I figured he would be angry at me because of what happened. I didn't want it to end like this even if we just stay friends. I knew Christian would be leaving after tomorrow, New Years. I needed to fix this. Just then I saw Christian walking towards me and I felt like maybe everything would be okay.
Christian's POV:
As I walked into Central Park I saw Anna sitting at our usual bench and when she saw me she smiled. I felt like maybe we could start over. "This could work out" I thought to myself. "Hey, I figured you weren't coming" Ana said, "wouldn't miss it for the world" I said with a chuckle and a sad smile. When I saw her I realized how much I missed her already.
"Sit down" she said. "Okay, this could be a while" and we talked small talk for a bit but then she said " okay we both know we didn't come here to make small talk." She said, "you're right..." "So I have to explain myself. I want you to know that Connor kissed me and I had no idea that you were right there, I feel terrible. I don't know why he did it either. He hadn't mentioned having any feelings for me and then he just kisses me and I'm shocked." I sit there and don't say anything, just let her explain. "I feel literally terrible for this because Connor and I dated in high school for a bit but we both decided it would be better to just be friends. I though he thought of me as a sister. So I just... Want to say I'm sorry and I hope you can forgive me." Tears start streaming down her face. I feel terrible. It's not like it was her fault. "You didn't mean it, it's fine, please don't cry." I tell her. She looks at me with sad eyes. "So we're okay then?" She asks, "totally okay." I say. I leave it at that, we talk for a bit longer about college and YouTube and small things like that. After that we hug and say goodbye for now.
A/n: hahaha it's finally done (this chapter)! I know it sounds like it's done but I promise that I have like 2-3 more chapters I think. The next chapter is New Years! Be excited!! Okay well I'm sorry if this is kind of bad because it is 1:57 am so ya. I'm writing another chapter because who even needs sleep! Sorry this was so long!! -Rachel
