I know this isn't related to my book but a lot of girls who play sports can relate to this. But I'm going through an injury myself. I have a knee injury. Here are some ways to deal with sports injuries.
1) use the R.I.C.E method: This method is used by all athletes who have injuries. It means Rest Ice Compression and Elevation. This will help a lot because it could prevent your injury from getting worse
2) go to the doctors: If your injury is really bothering you go to the doctors. They can do scans if nesscary to see if you tore anything
3) Have good sportmanship: Just because you're injured doesnt mean that you cant support your team. Dont be mad at your team because you cant do sports
4) List to your physical therapist: Trust me on this one. Listen to them they will give you at home eercises and you need to follow them in order to get back into sports at the set date. If that mea s you have to wait until next season it will be worth it you can slowly transition into sports again.
5) get surgery if needed- If your doctor says that surgery is an option get it. It will make your knee better and you will prevent further injury. Trust me. I might need surgery and it will benefit you a lot in the future.
