Alex POV
"Wake up or you'll get a double beating tonight!"
This is what I wake up to everyday. No good morning or anything. But I know I should get up cause a double beating is NOT good. I quickly get dressed and grab my backpack. I try to be sneaky so I can avoid my dad.
"And were do you think your going?"
"S-school" God damn it! I stuttered.
*slap* ouch. That hurt. Now my bruise is gonna show at school. Great first impression.
I just ran out the door not bothering to look back.

When I got to school I wandered around trying to find the office. I familiar looking girl came up to me. "Hi, I'm guessing you're new"
I nodded. "Cool I'm Maddie" I cocked my head to the side. "Why do you look so familiar?" " I'm Demi Lovato's sister" Now it made sense!
"Need help finding the office?" I nod shyly. She led me to the office. "Here we are. I hope to see you soon" I smile at that.
