The wedding bells were on the bang again...
Everyone were cheerful...
After some rituals,
The priest asked Vish and Mahir to get up for the pheras.
Both got up happily. Vish was smiling widely.
Zoya was called for their gathbandhan.
Zoya tied the cloth which was placed on Mahir's shoulder and tied to Vish's dupatta.
She smiled at both of them and patted their backs.
Mahir held Vish's hand in his and started taking pheras.
Vish was blushing as Mahir held her hand while the family members were looking in awe at their cute bond.
After first phera, the priest asked Vish to drop the puffed rice in the fire. She did the same and both of them again proceeded for the second phera.
After second phera, Vish again dropped some puffed rice in the holy fire. Mahir held her wrist and started rotating again.
Till this, Mahir was smiling but soon his expressions turned into feared ones. He breathed heavily and gripped her wrist firmly.
After third phera, Mahir again held her hand but this time, on her pulse directly. He started walking around the fire.
While walking, he closed his eyes for a minute and then, opened them in nanosecond i.e. quickly.
He came to the conclusion after nodding his head to himself.
After fourth phera, Vish was dropping the puffed rice in the holy fire when, Mahir muttered slowly that only Vish can listen.
Mahir: Problem hai!
Vish: Kya?? Tum kya bol rahe ho??
Mahir: Ku..kuch nahi!
For confirmation, Mahir again held her wrist or rather pulse.
Mahir (in mind): Oh God! Yeh toh pregnant hai! Shit!!
{Congratulations! Baccha hoga jald!
Sabne sahi guess kiya tha... Good job...}
Mahir looked at Vish in disbelief.
The next two rounds completed as quickly as possible where Mahir followed Vish.
Priest: Phere sampann hue! Ab aap dono sindur aur mangalsutra vidhi ko shuru kijiye!
Mahir filled her hairline with sindur and tied mangalsutra in her neck.
He had an emotionless face. He was hurt. Who will not be hurt when his/her bride/groom is pregnant before marriage and that too, without his/her child; with some random guy/girl !!!
Priest: Shaadi sampann hui! Ab aap dono badon ka aashirwad lijiye.
Vish was about to go when, she saw that Mahir was lost somewhere. He didn't even move an inch.
Vish tapped his shoulder and he came out of his world.
Vish pointed towards the elders and Mahir just went near them without even responding to Vish.
Vish let it go and followed him.
Both went first to Sushma i.e. Mahir's grandma. Both bent down to take blessings from her. She patted their back lovingly.
Sushma: Dono ki jodi aise hi bane rahe. Hamesha khush rehna aur saath rehna.
Vish smiled at her while Mahir just stared at her blankly.
Both proceeded towards Mahir's parents.
They too, blessed them for their future.
Next, they moved towards Vish's grandparents i.e. Simran and Rahul.
Both bent down at their feet.
Simran: Sada sukhi raho! Aap dono ki jodi jaise Shankar aur Parvati jaisi!
Raj: Meri beti ka dhyaan rakhna aur khudka bhi. Jab iske Maa aur Papa gaye the, tab maine unse waada kiya tha ki hamesha dono ka khyaal rakhunga. Ab ye zimmedari aap par sonp raha hu. Ye saare gehne bhi uske Pardadiji ke geheno ko mod kar liye hai. Hamara toh yahi bas hai. Koi galti hui toh maaf kar dena.
Mahir smiled weakly towards both of them.
One by one, they took the blessings from everyone including Kokila, Zoya nad Nakul where Zokul insisted them just to hug.
Both were sent to change their clothes for wedding feast and Vish's Bidaai...
