Last time...

Just then, a crack was heard, coming from the top of her head, slowly spreading to the bottom of her feet. Taiju's mind was lost, wandering into the sweet memories and last moments, from the time of them going to the vet with a petrified bird, to the moment of his confession before the green ray spreaded and freezing the whole humanity into stone.

"Yuzuriha! Can you hear me?! Yuzuriha!" He shouted.

I closed my ears at his outburst and looked towards the girl in front of me, unpetrified.

"Taiju?"

I almost went ahead and jump in to hug her, but I remembered that Taiju was there, so I let them speak first. Taiju looked towards the now unpetrified girl with a look of guilt, and apologised.

"I'm sorry. I made you wait for three thousand seven hundred years."

I looked towards Taiju and Yuzuriha, looking straight into each other's eyes.

'Heehee, should I push Taiju to make them kiss?' I thought aloud in my mine, wondering if that would ruin it or not.

In the middle of my silly thoughts, Yuzuriha spoke up.

"I have no idea what's going on." She replied to Taiju.

"I just woke up, but yeah, I think I know what's going on." She said, a soft smile playing om her lips.

"You saved me, didn't you? Wow, thank you." She thanked, now grinning wider.

Tears wiggled out Taiju's eyes, as they fell down his cheeks, only to be absorbed into the ground beneath him. He looked towards the girl and embraced her in a light hug, grateful that she had come back to her concious state of mind.

'Should I? Should I not? I want to, but will I ruin this? And will they get mad at me because they get flustered or somethin'? But wait, I'm sure they want that right?' I thought to myself as Taiju said.

"It wasn't me." Admitted Taiju, as he slightly glanced towards Senku and I.

"It was all thanks to Senku and (Y/N)." He said as he pulled away from the hug, wiping away his tears that were falling.

"Please, I have nothing to do with all this. I'd say I was useless, while Senku was behind everything, and Taiju collected most of the ingredients." I said as I painfully smiled.

"No way! You definitely helped a lot, (Y/N)!" Taiju exclaimed, looking at me worriedly.

"But Senku was the one who said he needed grapes, and Taiju was the one who picked them. I'm useless." I said as I looked away.

"(Y/N)." Senku started, looking at my turned head.

"Who made the massive amount of clay pots? And who helped get so many wood that we won't run out? And who was the one who brought meat once in a while when Tsukasa wasn't here?" Senku rambled, grinning.

I turned back towards him with a soft, seemingly fake smile. I nodded to him as I muttered.

"I'm useless either way...you guys could've survived even without me..." I muttered slowly, careful not to let them hear.

"Speaking of Tsukasa, make up your mind before he comes back." Senku said, folding his arms on his chest.

'Good, he didn't hear what I said.'

They looked at him in confusion, as I nodded intently, listening to what he has to say.

"We only have two options, so choose one." He said, seriousness filled into his voice.
