Mizuki Haru only had one close friend growing up, and that was Kai Akemi. They grew up beside each other. But Haru had only realized now what was happening. She was blushing!
(1st person POV)
"Why am I blushing? We're just holding hands on a bench at night!" I think.
"Haru-San, are you okay? It's really cold outside." Akemi-Chan asks.
"Oh- uhm..I'm fine." I reply quickly.
"Are you sure? Your face looks red so I thought you were freezing." Akemi-Chan asks concerned.
"I'm fine, I promise Akemi-Chan."
"Okay Haru-San." Akemi-Chan replies smiling brightly.
"Why do I feel like I have butterflies in my stomach?! Wait..Do I..." My thoughts yell.
(3rd person POV)
That's when Mizuki Haru realized what she was feeling. She had a crush on her close friend since childhood.. Kai Akemi.
