Chapter 12

Third person p.o.v.

While Itachi and Sakura were trying to figure out how Misaki got there, Tsundae and Mikoto were turning Konohagakure upside down trying to find Misaki. Tsundae after an hour of searching with Mikoto decided to make a Village wide announcement about the disappearance of the child of the scariest shinobi and the strongest kunoichi in Konoha and that got the whole town looking for the little girl. Even the Uchihas joined the search when Mikoto explained that the child belongs to the future leader of the clan and the med-nin who about a couple years ago became the only medic they'd let treat them outside their clan; even Fugaku joined in the search. When Tsundae receive the letter from said demon parents stating that they were coming back on the same day because they justed missed Misaki so much and they'd be devastated if something happened to her (She was so distracted by Misaki missing to realize how sketchy the letter was even from Shishi). Soon Konoha was flipped upside down and ANBU were sent out looking for the little girl for a 100 mile radius some even went further (that's how important she was to the village's mental health). They were so focused on finding Misaki that they didn't notice the mysterious figure in the tree.

Such ruckus for a little girl. I wonder what would happen if I found the little girl first.

Third p.o.v.

An ANBU, who were one of those who broadened there search range felt chakra coming their way. He knew exactly who it was coming in his direction he didn't even notice that Itachi was holding Misaki (because Misaki likes touching her papa's long pretty hair). The way they were arranged was Sakura in the front, then Genma and Shushi then finally Itachi. He sent his animal summon, a hawk, to sent news to Tsundae that they were on there way and by there speed they'd get there by sunset. So Tsundae made another announcement telling everyone to fix the village before they come back so they don't suspect anything wrong but to keep looking for the young child. The whole village has never been so scared in there lives; they couldn't recall a time a fear like this was instilled in there chest and even those who were around when the tail beast attacked the village couldn't compare that feeling to this moment. Tsundae, Mikoto and Shizune were standing at the entrance while Fugaku, Naruto, Sasuke, and a few others kept looking. When sunset hit they saw four figures in the distance but what started to make them nervous was the fact that the closer they got they didn't see Itachi. They finally made it to the gates to see Sakura smiling as she walked towards them with Genma, Shisui, the prisoner but no Itachi. "H-hello Sakura" Tsundae said as she internally cursed herself for stuttering and she can see from the corner of her eyes people wince at the stutter.

Some of the villagers of Konoha were either walking past slowly or hiding behind trees to see what was going to happen. "Where is Misaki?" Sakura asked as she tilled her head to the side.
"Napping""with Fugaku" Mikoto and Shizune said at the same time and you swear you heard a low groan coming from the village as everyone just slowly picked up fruit then putting it back down for the 8th time. Some people were so obvious that a women didn't realize she was trying to bottle feed a watermelon instead of the baby her husband was holding and her husband is so stressed he doesn't notice her doing it. She looks at the sun and then back at them, "napping at this time?" Sakura asked with a hand on her hip while squinting her eyes. "Naruto exhausted the little blossom out so we thought a little nap before dinner couldn't hurt" Mikoto said with a calm smile on her face and Sakura couldn'thelp but admit that Mikoto is a good liar. "And she's at your house?" "Yes she is" Mikoto replied back without fail. Sakura returned to same delicate smile Mikoto was wearing. She started to head to the kohage's tower as she stated "That's wonderful! Itachi went to get her now". If the village wasn't quiet before you could here a pin drop. The only noise that seem to be heard was Genma and Shisui trying not to laugh at the village ashen faces.
