TRIGGER WARNING~Mention of drug use and suicide by slit wrists
...
The BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit) the job (Y/N) took on soon after graduating from law school. (Y/N)'s family never wanted her to work in law, why you might ask because they never liked law enforcement, ruined their drug business you know? They were in jail though, so what do their opinions matter. (Y/N) joined the unit 3 years ago, met the team, Derrick Morgan, Spencer Reid, Jenifer (JJ), Emily Prentiss, Aaron Hotchner, Penelope Garcia, and David Rossi.
David Rossi didn't know her as of right now, but he had met her under a different name and gravely different circumstances of course. He had sweet, charming, and welcoming eyes. While she had been in the BAU, she had sort of adopted Rossi to be her surgent dad. I mean ya, after everything happened, she got adopted, but they just never really felt like her parents. She tried not to let them know she felt that way, it would definitely tear them apart. Derrick Morgan, she had found to be quite the ladies man. His pet name for her was pretty girl, which is strangely similar to his name for Spencer, pretty boy. Morgan seemed to always want to protect the team. He'd throw himself into situations if it meant saving the people of this team. She respected him for that.
(Y/N) had always thought that the infamous Dr. Spencer Reid was attractive. His nerdy little remarks or facts had always brightened her day and playing chess with him, though she always lost, was always something she always looked forward to. She loved his deep brown hazel eyes, and his long curly hair he had formed over his many years with the BAU. Sometimes she would catch herself staring at him and having to wipe up the drool falling on the case files she had set on the desk. She always wondered if he had at all felt the same way, but she knew he probably didn't though.
Jenifer was very kind to (Y/N). Her beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes fit well with her personality. She was always on top of what the team was doing, and she kept everyone on track and focused, she was good at that kind of stuff. JJ wasn't alone in her kindness though, Emily and Penelope were some of the nicest people she'd met in a very long time. Emily was one of the strongest women she had ever met. She had beautiful black hair that was always straight and flew slowly as she walked, flipping off her shoulders with each step.
Garcia was the cutest. She never missed the opportunity for a sarcastic remark, a new nickname for anyone, and everyone, and she never missed the opportunity to get the scoop into everyone's personal lives.
Even though it had been three years, (Y/N) still hadn't opened up about her past to the team, she didn't plan to, it would just do more harm than good.
Garcia also had the best office, she filled it with bright and fun figurines to remind herself to smile with all the gore that passes through her screens on the daily. Hotch, was a different story, yes, he was always kind to her and everything. However, he was the most serious person (Y/N) had ever met. He was a family man and never missed the opportunity to go see his son. He reminded her of a man she'd met a really long time ago. She doesn't remember much about him but she vaguely remembers pulling on his suit sleeve.
She had excelled at school and graduated early, I mean looking into the people who had caught her parents when she couldn't, helped with that a bit. She had graduated early and joined the team fairly young. At the ripe young age of 32. (Y/N) joined the team without telling anyone her background, and she never intended to do so, until one fateful day they got a case.
...
"We need to meet at the round table," says Garcia. She seemed sadder than normal when she had to present a case.
"On our way," (Y/N) replied, finishing her chess game with Ried. To whom she'd always lose too but a blast to her ego was a small price to pay to get to hang out with Spencer. As she enters the room where all the cases are presented she sees her father's face plastered on the tv screen on the wall.
