Now this book was originally based off of Twilight. It was a fanfic of sorts but set in a completely different world. Honestly I'll say it here now, from what I can remember it was way better than Twilight. DON'T DRAG ME! Let me explain.

The books were about a vampire girl that had a big vampire family and she had just moved to a different town. After moving to the town and attending her first day of school, she saw a young man ,named Liam I believe, staring at her. He wouldn't approach but just stare (just a tad creepy). The girl (McKenna I believe) was so attracted to his blood that she left the town and her family behind. After spending time with her friend, she felt the urge to go back home and live with her family to try and forget the young man, believing he would be gone after graduating high school. Now did this happen? Nope!

He was there and insistent that they spent time together because he felt the same attraction (not bloodlust obvi he's human) that she felt. From there this beautiful love story flows. Both of these characters are sweet, would do anything for each other and were wildly in love.

Now something that was different about McKenna was that she was unlike regular Vampires. She didn't survive just on blood but on contact from other beings. It's a little twist and it's explained more in the books, but it was really interesting to read about.

Now these books were sadly taken down by the author. I was extremely sad about this because they had so many good books, and I can't remember for the life of me why they did take them down but it was a sad day. This series was amazing and I pray everyday that this author comes back and puts it back up for the thirsty fans to read again. One of them being me.
