If I wasn't trained to do what I do, I would probably be scared of the deep woods I'm currently in. But I always found the woods to be quite peaceful. It's quite the shame the only reason I'm here is because I'm hunting one of the werewolves I tracked down.

Rest of my team pulled back to the base but I wasn't going to abandon the mission before getting a kill in. Even though we were quite a team together, we always respected each other doing their own thing.

We've been born and trained to fight against the werewolves that lurk in the woods. They used to be quite dominant a while ago but ever since people rose up against them, they've been covering their tracks and hide quite well.

There were many different packs in the world, some were easy and some put up quite a fight. We recently found a track of one of the strongest packs that still remain in this world. That's why I'm in these woods. Even though we lost the scent of where they were, I found two tracks that I kept following.

My steps were quiet and are hard to hear, even with their werewolf senses.

I stopped when I suddenly heard a growl. But it wasn't towards me. In fact, it sounded like two growls snapping at each other. I sneaked behind a tree and looked towards the noise.

I saw two wolves gnarling at each other, ready to fight. Made me wonder if we were dealing with one or two packs here. They usually never fight with each other.

The fight began between those two as they started taking bites with each other.

I put my bag, full of weapons, down quietly behind the tree and decided taking the bow this time. I could get them both within a distance. They wouldn't even see me coming.

I prepared one arrow with wolfsbane and lined up to the targets. I attached the arrow to the string and took my position to line up with the targets.

One of the wolves were on top of the other one, going for the neck, so I aimed at this one first. When I locked my target, I let the arrow loose and it went straight in. Since it was dipped with wolfsbane, the death greets him quickly.

The other wolf stood up and looked at me, quite cautiously. I was about to draw another arrow for him when I heard steps, a lot of them, coming towards us.

''Drew!'' A male voice shouted through the woods, quite close to our position. I lowered my bow as I knew it was a fight I wasn't prepared for. But I wasn't quite sure if I could outrun them.

The wolf growled at me quietly, as if asking me not to move.

''Drew?'' I heard the voice again and a group of werewolves, in their human form, appeared behind the wolf.

They saw me almost instantly and took defensive position, ready to attack.

I took a quick look at them and realized I was in trouble. I could take up few werewolves by my self, but not when there's a pack alpha in the play. The way the guys were positioned, showed me that the guy in middle reeked with authority.

I clenched at my knife behind my back, ready to do some damage before getting killed.

The wolf in front of me, looked back at his pack and it seemed like they were communicating. One of the guys next to alpha, who yelled out this wolf's name, looked at him and then at me.''You saved him?'' He asked me.

Saved? I wondered. Is that something I could pull off to escape the situation?

''Yeah... Sorry, I'm not sure. It seemed like the wolf was going to kill this one,'' I pointed at the dead one I shot.

One of the guys went for the dead wolf and took out the arrow I shot. He sniffed at it, and then looked at me. ''Wolfsbane? And what exactly were you doing here with an arrow dipped in that?''

I put my hands in front, slightly up and playing along. ''I was just hunting deer.. my dad taught me to be safe in case of wolves attack. I didn't know you.. werewolves.. had this forest. I won't be coming back again!''

Silence surrounded me as I knew that they were probably deciding what to do with me. The guy that was still next to an alpha, came closer to me and I was ready to attack when suddenly he reached out his hand.

''I'm Ethan, we're grateful that you saved our friend here.''

I shook his hand carefully as if it was a trick. ''Emma.''

I looked at the alpha and I saw his curious eyes staring at me. Knowing the power he has, I quickly looked away, not looking for trouble.

''Can I go?'' I asked Ethan quietly.

''Sure,'' he chuckled. ''But we're grateful you saved our friend. Would you like to come back with us?''

''With you?'' I asked in confusion. ''You're not planning to kill me, are you?''

''We won't bite,'' I heard a chuckle. It was the alpha who spoke out this time, but I dared not to look at him yet.

I wasn't sure why they were inviting me over. They been good at hiding their tracks but they are willing to invite me over saving one of them, by accident. I imagine they wouldn't hesitate to kill me if they knew the real reason why I was here.

But a sudden realization hit me. It was the easiest way to find out where the pack is located, since my team has been looking for this pack for over two months. I'd just have to be careful enough to hide who I really am. I could sneak into their home, and as soon as their guards are down, launch an attack on them.''I'll accept your invitation,'' I smiled innocently.
