Their devil

Chapter two

The car was filled with silence, she waited for them to speak and they waited for her to speak yet none spoke a word. Violet didn't mind the silence it was one of the few things she loved, she was us to yelling and screaming, silence was a once in a lifetime dream. She was happy no one talked until of course someone had to speak.
"Why do you pretend to be mute?" Asked her twin brother
"I don't" she simply replied like she's always learned
"Then why does everyone think your mute?" Valentine asked again. At this point, all the brothers and the father were looking at her waiting for her reply.
"Don't blame me for their stupidity, they wished to believe I'm mute when none tried to talk to me" she said sounding a tiny bit frustrated.
"Oh" was all her brother had said.
The silence once again filled the car until someone else decided to speak.
"Not much of a talker eh?" Her father Leonardo chuckling.
Violet just nodded her head not thinking that she needed to speak.
"So how about we go over the rules until we get there," the father said trying to stop the awkward silence. Violet once again just nodded her head which was slowly getting on Leonardo's nerves.
"Okay so it's a basic set of rules and I don't think they'll be very hard to follow if you break them well you'll get grounded or something" he waited for her to argue to shout at him for controlling her but she did nothing but again nod her head, " well we don't expect from you a lot, firstly you have to respect your older brothers well except your twin cause technically your older than him, secondly we don't want you to date anyone but you can have them as friends if you plan to keep it that way, we also expect your grades to be all passing which you can already do, and as a family we expect you to eat breakfast and dinner with us, are these rules good for you?"
"Respect is earned not gifted," violet said without even looking at Leandro.
That angered him yet made him proud this girl wasn't a bit scared of the men the world feared, she was his blood and he was sure of it.
"He asked if you're okay with the rules," said Marcos in a tone that sounded very frustrated.
"I'm fine with them" she simply replied, her lack of response was slowly annoying them.
"I don't think you know our ages so I'll start and we'll go from oldest to youngest, you can say something you like about yourself or a hobby or anything about you, you know my name which is Mateo and I'm the oldest which is 26 I like working out a lot and I also like cooking"
"I'm Miguel and I'm 24 I like reading a lot and I like writing my own books"
"I'm Marcos and I'm 22 I like drawing tattoos and creating new designs"
"I'm the older twin and I'm Fernando and I'm like the cooler twin I like playing video games and I'm currently studying medicine"
"I'm the actual cooler twin he's just bullshitting and you probably know I'm Francisco I'm 20 and I'm studying law which is pretty boring but I'm fine with it"
"Valentine and we're like the same age and sister it's good to have you back"
